Morning! I'm in a whole 30 fog this morning.I woke up feeling great but now feel like I got hit by a truck and I'm sore from class last night. My coworker reminded me to put my coffee cup in the keurig so at least I have that going for me!
I'm going to a meeting over lunch with free Subway, but will eat my salad before I go. It's going to be torture. Then I'm leaving work early to get my hair cut and colored and DH will bring the kids at the end to get theirs cut too.

Hi everyone. I am just wrapping up a new hire orientation so finally has a moment to log in. B has picture day today. Of course we went through a little bit of some fighting about what she was going to wear, but in the end I got her all settled down with a purple dress.
I am glad you are doing well today wedding. Stupid question prolly, when are you able to eat? Or maybe you already are?
i hope all goes well for B tomorrow @sing2phins and it is a quick recovery.
@calishov, for us it's primarily things that are too loud, too crowded, or if there are too many things going on at once. I'm trying to limit the choices I give her, stick to one focus at a time, and make sure she knows that she can always ask be removed from a situation if she's too overwhelmed (as much as possible). I really think the behavioral aspect is so out of control this past week because she's sick, but part of me is glad that we made the realization and are actively dealing with it. Any tips on what you do with V? ETA: i didn't mean to throw that at you. If you don't want to share, it's fine, of course,,and if you want to share in a p.m. that's fine too.
guster, V is also sensitive to loud noises and large crowds, he also has visual sensitivities, he doesn't like cluttered/messy spaces and he has a large personal space bubble.
It took us a long time to understand his sensory profile but he is a seeker of proprioceptive input. He is calmed by big, strong, long lasting hugs, joint compression and massage.
We all have an individual sensory profiles and are "avoiders" of some input and "seekers" of other input. It sounds like you're really aware of what she avoids and you provide an escape which is excellent that you're tuned into her like that. The next step for us was tuning into what V seeks so we could provide that and enable him to persist though uncomfortable situations. A long hug with a back massage is something we're able to do in a public place and quickly to regulate him. It's been a game changer for us, but it takes a lot of trial and error to find what works.
I got my first PP period in January. I've had 2 since- 28 and 33 days apart. It's now day 36 and nothing.... I may be buying a test today.
Pre N, my cycles were 40 days. Between N & H, they were 32 days. Now they are all over the place. I should probably get off the mini pill an on to something different.
Good luck with B's surgery @sing2phins! I was worried before D had has surgery in January and it went great. Everyone at the hospital was great with him (and me) and he had no problems with the anesthesia. You will be so relieved to have it behind you!
Sounds like some of the sickies are starting to feel better. Im glad!
I'm just enjoying some baby snuggles this morning and getting ready for a couple more hours of sleep (hopefully!)
Thinking of you klongoria11 . Did C give you the biggest hug ever when you got home?
She was more excited for her new Peppa figure she knew I had bought for her. But, she was very cuddly that night and stayed close to me. Last night she was a terror, but that first night was nice.

One of my bosses just walked in. I shook my head no because I knew he would try to talk to me. So he gave me a weird and awkward hug. I was sitting in my chair, so basically my face was in his armpit
@sing2phins Poor B. Hope that surgery is uneventful. It doesn't sound like they need you to try to keep his wrists or hands immobilized so I guess that's good? How is your shoulder?
Morning. The carpet guy was out to measure how much carpet we need. I made an appt to get H checked out because of how whiny she's been the last week and a half. She's had a low grade fever off and on, plus some congestion and a cough. We will see what they say.
@sing2phins sorry B has to have surgery but I hope it goes well and recovery isn't too bad.
Need makeup help. I don't mind looking like I wear makeup, but don't like severe looking blush.
Is this too much color? Too much pink? Maybe it's accentuating my pink undertones too much? I feel like it's a little "off." Do I need more of a bronze color?
cagoldi, you're so pretty. I love the makeup except the lipstick. It's a bit too shiny for me, I think I'd go more mat.
I'm not usually into matte but you might be right. It could also be the red lipstick bringing out the pink on the rest of my face. Maybe I need a cool red?
You're sweet. Don't we look like we could be sisters or cousins or something? The couple times I've seen your pictures I thought we looked similar. Could be the brown hair and blue eyes.
Thinking of you, klongoria11. It's nice that your coworkers care and all, but more important that they respect your needs right now. I hope they give you some space.
Sorry about the strep, Sunny41. It's feeling kind of germy in here. To say the least.
cagoldi - I need you to swing by and do my eye make-up, please and thanks.
I'm sorry, calishove. We had to walk on 2 houses during our search and it sucked. The whole process sucked, really. DH brings up looking around town for something bigger sometimes and I break out into a cold sweat. It's pretty much impossible not to get emotional.
