So, I am curious bored at work, and was wondering how we are doing check ins? Are we doing check ins? Do we want to continue with what we did on the place which shall not be named? (3T calls it Voldermort). Like I said, I am bored, sleep deprived, and this is the stuff that pops in my head. Crazy, I know.

I'll reply to my checkins wherever they are. I don't know about redundancy though. For example if IF is on both boards, would you guys be super annoyed if you end up reading the same update twice??

I was thinking about that as well. I think I will just see where the majority of members are (which seem to be here) and go from there. I just do not want to lose/not make welcome anyone, does that make sense?

I need to pm all of the ladies on my TTA check in. I don't feel comfortable on TB so I'm hoping to move it here. I'm pretty sure all of my current members are here but I'm checking TB to be sure.
I'm posting check-ins at both places. I want to see where everyone is and I don't want to leave anyone out. However, I'm not sure how long I will continue posting in both places.

I thought we were cutting back on check ins, is that still going to happen here?
I was going to radically suggest no check-ins....
I had lunch today with 2 ladies that I started with on TTCAL, and we talked about what was going on here (one heard about it on Twitter) And that was one of the main points, that we were all in it together...
Wicked, what do you think as one global group check-in? Like what LIW was in the beginning?
As for the newb check in.....(if we're still planning to do them?) I would post on both this week, but if we all stay here, I will gladly take it here. I enjoy it.

I'm good with whatever- nows the best time to make a change imo and we all made this board our own so quickly because we're all in this together. So I love wicked's idea!

This. I love wicked's idea as well. It would be nice to have everyone's updates in one spot and not immediately break off into smaller groups.

I remember feeling overwhelmed sometimes in the newbie check-in when I first joined since it was tough to respond to so many people (I know you don't have to), so I've enjoyed having the smaller ones. I do like the idea of feeling more connected to everyone, so if that's the way we want to go I'm fine with it as well.

Edit:spelling
I think if we go with one mass check-in then I think it would have to be a given that the check-in leader is only responsible for posting. There is zero expectation to respond to every single person and I think that would be the same with people that respond to it.

I love this idea.
All this. I already feel like there's not such an oldie/newbie feel with the transition to this board. I think a global check-in would be great as long as everyone understands that there's no pressure to respond to everyone's posts.
I'd prefer to just have one checkin, but I am going to continue posting wherever they are posted. I don't know where I'd be without my July check-in, and IF check-in has provided a lot of support since they usually know a lot about the different treatments I am going through.
