littleredfish DS1 was a TERRIBLE sleeper. He's great now but it took til he was 13 months to sttn. I'm hoping DS2 does it sooner. Or at least drops 1 night feed.
littleredfish I'm not sure how to tell? Sometimes when she unlatches, I'm spraying her. She doesn't seem bothered by the spitting, but damn, I am sick of being wet from spit up everywhere!
The babes get baptized this weekend so we have DHs family coming into town and staying with us. MIL is here tonight until Sunday. My SIL/BIL and kids come Saturday. I'm gonna have to try to be nice to MIL. She's very manipulative and is a huge liar. DH had cut her out of his life but felt guilty after LO1 was born. Everything is a secret and nothing is ever her fault.

Is she unlatching cause she's done? Spraying is usually an indication of a strong letdown. I can feel when mine are coming (not all people can) so I pop him off, let it go a bit in a blanket or my nursing pad them pop him back on. Sometimes their tiny mouths can't cope with the volume and they end up gulping which causes them to gulp air too. As they grow and your supply regulates it sorts itself out basically. I learned all of this with DD2 when I saw a LC for serious Exorcist like vomit and she noted that was one problem I had.

No, she's not unlatching because she's done. She doesn't necessarily unlatch because it's too much for her to handle. But it could be the issue for sure. DS would unlatch if I was spraying him too much -- he did not like it!

Thanks for the opinions flyinghorses6 and littleredfish! I think I'm gonna buy a couple of pocket diapers and give them a try at home. If I hate it at least I haven't wasted a lot of money.
