... just barely survived. I've got my 38+3 appointment this morning, then my last full day of work! I'm working part time next week, then my leave starts on the 15th (or earlier of baby makes an early debut).
DD was with MIL all day yesterday and overnight since we didn't have daycare yesterday or today. I took a nap after work yesterday and we got pizza from our favorite place. Slept in a little this morning too. It's nice to be able to relax a little while she's gone, but I'm looking forward to seeing her after work.
I feel like I could easily sleep all day today. My ob still thinks I have a couple more weeks to go unless baby surprises us so I'm kind of glad for that. NEED MORE TIME! I know these things are impossible to predict though.

That sucks, hpnegirl! Hope your ankle heels quickly!
I think my pain is starting to get better. I was able to go without the rx painkillers this morning so that's a start. We wanted to take the baby out in the stroller and take DD to the park across the street from our house so she could have some fun and burn some energy but it's rainy here this morning. Now we're trying to figure out how to get her out of the house but still have it be somewhere we're comfortable taking a 4 day old baby.
sleepymonkey that's been our dilemma too! Earlier this week we were able to do all outdoor activities but with the rain it's hard to find anywhere that entertains DD and is safe for baby boy.
DS seems so much better today, he's actually playing and his temperature is back to normal. I'm hoping it stays that way and doesn't spike back up. Rainy and dreary here today which makes the pictures my sister is sending of Greece seem cruel.

DS is still sleeping so I was able to drink coffee, eat breakfast and put a load of laundry in in peace. I'm guessing he'll wake soon. He did go to bed an hour later than usual and had a rough day yesterday so I'll let him sleep as long as he wants. I should probably do something more productive while I have the chance, but now I'm watching the Office.
We're also having a rainy day here. I'm hoping to get in some light house stuff in between baby snuggling.
I pulled out all three girls first pedi visit paperwork. DD1 and DD3 were/are similar so far about 93rd percentile...DD2 75th percentile.....I know they can all change so much over the years but I think it's fun to follow
DH and I agree that DD2 will likely be our smaller girl, but will give her big and little sisters a hard time because she's so tough and scrappy....she's the loudest most physical of the bunch so far at least!
My doctor did a sweep yesterday. I had a lot of bloody show and contractions. Then they just stopped... but it was the first time in days I slept through the night. I got up to pee, but could go back to sleep. Every other night I would be awake unable to sleep through sort of painful contractions, usually from 2-5 am. So even though it is opposite what was intended, I am happy that I got such great sleep. In a mental space now where I am ok to wait.
Morning everyone! I had a crazy busy day yesterday so didn't really get to check in but today is much better. 37 weeks on the dot today and thinking I'll go pretty close to my due date but who knows. I'm getting a weird coccyx adjustment today that I'm praying helps with the tailbone pain and if it does I'm going to be pissed I didn't do it sooner. (Involves a finger up the butt so fun times lol!) Then I have a restorative prenatal yoga workshop tonight so I'm excited for that. I will be doing hw the rest of today though and most of the weekend to get through these last 2 final papers and then I'm DONE!!!!! DW will be working on the baby to do list this weekend without me but I'd much rather be doing that than sitting at my computer.
hpnegirl sorry about your ankle! I hope it heals soon!!
Me: 32, Wife: 38, Together for 5 years, Married for 2 years IUI #1 (8/2016): Letrozole, Ovidrel, Crinone = BFN IUI #2 (9/2016): Letrozole, Ovidrel, Endometrin = BFP!! EDD 5/26/17
I have a version scheduled for next Wednesday. I still have somewhat mixed feelings about it but I feel like I have to give it a try. There is a very small risk of the baby not tolerating the procedure and needing to be delivered right away (he'll be 37w+1) which has me totally freaked out but I'm trying to convince myself that it happens very rarely. Most likely he will either flip or he won't but at least I'll have a better idea of what to expect in the coming weeks and how to prepare myself for it. We are also trying to prioritize the things that still remain to be done this weekend just in case. And packing my hospital bag and bringing it with me...
We finally got our stroller yesterday (City Mini GT). Getting the car seat in and out of it is a bit awkward and I can't tell if it's just because of my giant belly getting in the way or what. And our car seat is pretty lightweight and it didn't even have a baby in it. I think I just need some practice to get the hang of it but I think that'll have to wait.
Just got done with my appointment I'm now at 4+ cm dilated and cervix is soft but still high. He said everything looked ready enough though that if I wanted, he could schedule an inducement and likely all they'd have to do it break my water and the show would be on the road. I decided to let the baby chill a little longer though and see if it will happen on its own in the next week. Eek!!
I wish sleep to everyone dragging today. I am also thrilled it's Friday. It's been a really busy/emotional week and I'm ready to decompress a bit. Last appt (Tuesday) I was 1.5cm and over 50% effaced, so I'm hoping for more progress this upcoming Tuesday. The contractions have really slowed down, though.

Good luck! Even if you're in that small percentage, I'm sure they know exactly what to do. Sending flippy vibes to you.
Just completed my activity for the day. Took the kids on a two block walk around the neighborhood this morning. Now I have earned the rest of the day on the couch. 😄 We do have dinner at a friend's tonight for cinco de mayo. May be the last time we get out without kids for awhile. At least I'm hoping. Told baby girl tomorrow is her day. Let's see if she cooperates.

PirateCat, good luck with the version next week! I hope it works but even if it doesn't, baby could still flip on their own. DS flipped sometime around 38w after they told me it was unlikely at that point.

I do keep hoping! And I keep telling him that he can totally avoid the whole thing by flipping before Wednesday. We'll see!
Also meant to post this. I just saw an article on Facebook titled "How to have bath time with two toddlers" then said it would give tips and tricks to make it easy. Is it just me or is bath time really hard? I thought it was just put kids in tub add toys and wash them. If you have two toddlers you put them both in there. Do we need 15 tips and tricks for this?
loubug seems like you can find a blog post, article or expert on everything these days!
Out girls are 3 & 6 so not both toddlers but since DD2 has been safe for bathing together it's really about mess control and breaking up little fights over splashing, taking toys...basically the same things they annoy each other with out of the tub
DD1 prefers showers now, but I'm so happy when they take a bath together instead....they're both contained, I only get all wet one time... so much easier!!
