FFFC: I ordered DD an ice cream cake for her birthday. I do it because I like it, I'm sure she does too. This year I ordered the bigger sheet cake kind since I have room to keep the left overs and it was only $3 more. We could have gotten away with the round cake but my inner fat child won.
We are doing this as well. DS loves ice cream cake anyway and so do we.
Hearing about the bear at scotty's house is making me rethink making it zombie meet up place.
Unless we can train a bear to protect us.
A neighbor just had a bear destroy their trash cans and rolled in the yard. We've never had this happen but lately people have seen a couple close to our neighborhood and now this. #relevant

I really should have gotten dd a doctor kit for her birthday but didn't because I don't think I have the patience to spend even more time being her patient.

springbeduk we have 2 doctor kits, and my girls love it (we only have 1 open right now). I love being their patient, because it involves just laying on the couch while they Dr me.
For all my feels about pattern mixing, I let DD1 do it. She dresses herself before she leaves her room in the morning and I don't have the energy to deal with her tantrum.
Yesterday it was polka dots on top and leopard print leggings. But we weren't going anywhere.
DD1 almost always picks out her clothes. Everything has to be "pretty", a "pretty dress" with "pretty leggings". Which really means any bright colors with some kind of flower, heart or butterfly print. Mix ALL the prints. Top it off with a "pretty necklace, and pretty headband and pretty ring". I don't fight it.

We must have a skirt. Sometimes two. Even if we are wearing a dress. Whatever kid

I cried after I put my 2 year old to bed for the last time. I have not had any feelings about her turning 3, and it came out of nowhere.
I cried in the car on the way home from buying J balloons the night before his bday. It hit me out of nowhere too and was over just as fast as it started.

I forgot to eat dinner tonight. DH fed the girls while I finished with the edging outside and then put bedding on Dd1's bed. After bedtime I sat down on the couch and haven't gotten up since.
