I had no special title I could think of to use for this thread, just boring old Monday Randoms.
I'm not going into work this morning because Will is not feeling well and it sounds like he has a lot of mucus drainage in his lungs. His cough is awful. So is Noah's cough so I'm hoping both can be seen.
I hope it's nothing major and/or they gets meds and feel better soon thelittleredm.
I'm off to the doctors in a little bit as well. Ds has his two year check up. I know he's getting at least one shot that he couldn't get at his 1.5 year check up due to timing. I'm crossing my fingers that he's chill and doesn't pitch too much of a toddler fit during the exam.
I hope you can get an appt thelittleredm and that both your littles feel better soon ❤
I've been flakey on here. It's been a stressful spring. Our business is a literal fairweather business and depends on dry weekends. We have had more rainy weekends this year than I ever remember, significantly more than any year in the last 5 that I've been running it. It's stressful and money is starting to get tight. We don't "depend" on the spring, but usually we can at least count on break even til the summer and fall when most of our money is made. We are not breaking even right now and it's starting to stress me out. A lot.
In not work news, I've decided I'm going to restart couch to 5k today. I need to do something about the babyweigjt that's not going anywhere. It fell right off the first couple weeks but now breastfeeding makes me SO hungry and I've put quite a bit back on. Time to really do something about it.
I feel you with being healthy pibblemom. I was doing well and finally got over a little plateau. Then I was bad last week and this weekend with all the sweets, not exercising, and I have not hydrated well the last couple days. I feel gross. I'm hoping to get back on track this week but I'll be traveling so it will be tough.

thelittleredm, I hope your boys can get seen today and are ok.
pibblemom, I hear you on being healthy and loosing weight. I'm not exercising much and not staying very hydrated. I need 40 hour days to accomplish what I want to.

I am so tired. It took forever for E to fall asleep last night but luckily there was no 2 hour screamfest at 4am. I still did not sleep well for some reason. I wore these pair of pants to work that I can't even zip up. By the time I realized I couldn't fit into them properly it was too late for me to change pants. Luckily my sweater hides it. :-(
We have the new nanny officially starting today. I really hope it goes well. I am going to try not to be glued to the nanny cams. I am grumpy and whiney today. Thank goodness H doesn't have hockey tonight.

We put N in her room for the first time. Still in the RNP but I don't want to wake her with my alarm on Thursday.
She did great. The last two nights she's been restless at 3am, kicking her legs and whining, but she isn't really awake. So I got up to check on her and she was still asleep.
I didn't sleep well and I'm tired. I'm going to be so tired when I go back to work, ugh.
MissDemeanor, awesome! I'm about to do w1d1. If I'm able to stick to exactly 9 weeks, I will finish the week of my dads birthday, which would be a nice tribute to him because he started running after I finished my first (and only) tri.
Add to Monday stress, H and I just had the "we don't have sex anymore and I feel like you don't want me" conversation. I'm sorry, I had a baby 3 months ago and I work full time. I'm tired and I feel fat, not sexy.

Sorry for the sick kiddos thelittleredm. I hope you can get them in today and they start feeling better.
That sounds really stressful pibblemom, I'm sorry. I hope the rain goes away so things start getting better for you. And my H and I had that same conversation about a month ago. The lack of sleep is just killing me for so many reasons.
Noah has had diarrhea for the past 4 days now, so our weekend was fun. Lots of poopy diapers and diaper leaks (on me, in the carrier- so fun). Our babysitter was diagnosed with pink eye Saturday so we couldn't even have our date night. But DD's pictures went well (posting on the private board in just a minute) and the weather was gorgeous. Otherwise Noah was up partying for over an hour last night, not to mention a few other wakeups between pumping and regular feedings. It's going to be a long day.

I've been extra anxious today b/c of the new nanny but it seems to be going ok. When I spoke to my pedi she said the breastmilk from me no matter how little still gives E antibodies, but she knows how hard it is to pump. So to do what I need to for my sanity and well being. I am still undecided at this point but am leaning towards starting to wean in the next few weeks, perhaps in June I'll start.

Hugs for everyone dealing with sickness.
pibblemom, sorry for the work and money stress. I hope there's nothing but beautiful weather in your future.
I am exhausted. We moved B to his room and he woke up 2 hours after bedtime. After that he did two three hour stretches. So, nothing awful but I was really hoping his crib would be magically and he'd sleep all night. Didn't help that I went to bed late either. I have a meeting at 12:50 and don't have enough time to get coffee. Ughhhh
Ds is 98th for height and 46th for weight! He did well for the exam and shot but was a bear for the nurse trying to get his measurements. We had to hold him down on the table to measure his height because he wouldn't stand by the wall measuring chart. I had to step on the scale with him. THANKS FOR THAT KID. Not the number I wanted to see after a weekend of eating your birthday treats 😂
The doc wasn't overly concerned with his minimal vocabulary, gave me the whole boys talk less/later speech. Don't worry doc, I'll still worry!
pibblemom, first- hugs for a business that is weather dependent, my family runs two businesses that are summer intensive, and it sucks when the weather is bad and you start to worry about money. SECOND- I want to do the C25K too! I was just looking at the treadmill and was thinking use it or lose it (to the basement). I've never gotten very far, maybe 4 weeks?, I'll keep you and MissDemeanor, posted. THIRD I feel like we are about to have that sex talk too. am not ready.
peaseblossom55, how much is E eating? H is eating 20oz a day, which seems SO low to me, but I try more and he yaks it up.
silvermelody, I moved H into his room still in the RNP too, its been a few days, but he sleeps so well I'm afraid to make the final push to the crib!
DH was freaking out this weekend about eye goop, he thought it was pink eye. (eye is not pink, it was minimal goop) usually I'm the hypochondriac, its cute to see how worried he is about H.

LovesMeSomeCake, she was doing 5 or 6 bottles at around 5 ounces, now she is taking 3oz sometimes 4. It could be teething or just her 4 month sleep regression
Holy Monday peaseblossom55. I hope the nanny is amazing.
All the coffee to everyone. Sounds like all the babies are gearing up for the 4 month sleep regression? There are too many of you tag for this.
pibblemom it took me a long time to get back in the sexy spontaneous groove and actually enjoy it. This might sound lame but I scheduled sex last time. I didn't always tell mh but I would pick a day and psych myself up for. Having a routine helped me get back in the swing of things despite all my pp insecurities.
And I'm not back in the groove this time, not even close. Although I'm more accepting of my pp body this time around so that's a nice change. Might be more of a F* it attitude from 2u2 exhaustion though...
is it normal for baby hair to fall out? I've been blaming the dogs, but it is definitely his own hair.
B is losing his hair too. It's so so sad. He had this full head of lush hair and now it's so thin. I asked the pedi about it today and she said it was normal. Waaaaahh. 😢

LovesMeSomeCake yep the baby hair falling out is normal. Doesn't happen to all babies but it does to a lot of them. N is almost bald on top right now, not the cutest look

Hey everyone sorry I have been missing in action. Hugs and hair pats to all who need them.
Q lost most of his hair at two months and is just now coming back so hopefully it does not think out at four months, otherwise we will have a half baby.
