The boys got discharged from the nicu yesterday afternoon. We all survived our first night at home.
Our nurse said L is still very little and we shouldn't have visitors over or let people handle him alot so he can conserve energy for feeding.
My mom was pissed when she dropped off Ds1 last night but I really don't GAF. I just hope DH will step up with his family and I don't have to be the bitch there too.
Yay to being home! Totally feel you on having to be the bitch, H says I'm better at it so it's always me. I pissed off A LOT of family by telling them not to visit because of maxs(my almost 2yo) weakened immune system. Sorry bout it, his health comes before your feelings.

Have my 37 week appointment tomorrow. I went from a 1 to 2 between last Saturday and last Tuesday, so hopefully a little more progress this week. I'm so miserable and in near constant pain, something's gotta give soon. The only time I'm not hurting is when I take a bath, which I obviously can't do 24/7.
I keep getting random contractions and sitting down and drinking water so as to not encourage them. I'm almost 38w and really want to make it through this week before baby comes. I'm so tired but have so much to do.
setsuna17 so sorry for the prodromal labor. It really is the worst. I have been such the grouch all week. Hope it turns into something real soon.
Got my epidural and just waiting. It's working a little too good and I started getting numb in my chest and arms. Nurse turned it down but still feel tingly all over. So weird.
Hope labor comes quick for all those at the end of their patience. The last weeks of pregnancy are just the pits.
Yay loubug!! T's and P's for a quick and safe delivery!!
AFM, I'm home today from work and miserable. I had to call in because I'm having the worst hemorrhoid of my life right now. 😫 I get them with every pregnancy but I literally can't even walk right now. Had to reschedule my 39 weeks appt because I literally don't think I could walk in the office right now. I'm sooooo miserable and there's nothing I can do. ☹️
Baby comes bright and early Friday morning and as of right now, I'm very glad I'm having a RCS instead of a vaginal birth with these awful hemmies.
katie0919 Girl you have my sympathies and commiseration. I'm also struggling to walk because of a hemorrhoid. I'm doing what I can for it but I know it's because baby dropped again and the pressure is insane. I feel ya!
I didn't even know Prodromal labor was a thing until recently. It's some bullshit. I'm 37w4d by my calculations, and 38w by my doctor's, so I'm good with her coming at any point.
hpnegirl I LOVE being home with LO but DD is wearing me out. I feel like I'd be resting/recovering from my RCS more at work than home with her lol. I honestly didn't enjoy my maternity leave with DD very much, I think because she was such a needy baby AND my first so I was just stressed out all the time. I was going to be a SAHM but after 5 weeks I started looking for a job! I'm not cut out for it either, though I'm def not ready to leave baby boy. DD goes back to daycare 3 mornings per week next week when MIL leaves, so hopefully I'll get some rest then!

I had a fissure with my last so I have tried all the butt remedies. Best thing for hems is a sitz bath for 15m 2x a day in warm water. It seriously shrunk mine to the point where I can sit again. Witch hazel helps a little too.
