I had my check up with the ob this morning. It was good. He seems to think I pulled a muscle and that is the source of pain from the past few days. I'm up 27 pounds. I gained much less thus past 3 weeks than at my previous 2 appointments. So there's that. I'm at every 2 weeks now!

@missally the doctors scale is always so much more than at home. I usually go at the end of the day so after eating and drinking all day and wearing lots of clothes it ends up being more.

Count me in for over 20lb weight gain. 21lb so far at 31w. With DS I gained a total of 23 at 37w, so it's a little surprising considering I'm working out more this pregnancy. I don't hate it though - I think I'll end up around 25-30lb full term.
Regarding Fitbit: I wear mine all the time and love it! It definitely was more motivating non pregnant (because it was a lot easier to get steps), but it's still been useful.
I have an appointment at the perinatal center with the high risk doctor today. I haven't stopped bleeding and my OB is stumped, so off I go for the higher level ultrasound. I hope they can give me some answers.

Keep us posted! FX that everything looks good!!
Thank you! My doctor said it could be as simple as the baby is kicking the crap out of my cervix and making it bleed. I'm hoping it's something like that!
Had my follow up US today, looks like the partial previa has cleared up, so yay!
Meh I gained 20lb in the first half of both my pregnancies, even though this time i was trying to make healthier changes. I'm on track to gain 40 lb again, but it will come off after baby even though it'll take a while
I have a Fitbit. I wear it daily. Since being pregnant it hasn't been as motivating as it used to be, but it's still nice to know how much I'm moving.
Have any of you done Orangetheory? I've been a member for almost a year. That's how I've kept my weight gain so low. I plan to continue after. It's the only gym membership kind of thing I've ever actually enjoyed.
Totally late to this party, but they had an Orangetheory Fitness near me when I lived in Denver and I loooooved it!! There are a few scattered across the STL area, but none close enough to me that I could ever make it work having a membership. I wish they'd put one in my town!
Baby is right on target for growth! He's about 3.5 pounds. As for the bleeding, it's not an abruption, previa, or preterm labor. The doctor said sometimes it just happens. Not super reassuring but I just have to trust that the doctors know what they're looking for and everything is ok.

I wish they had a better answer for you but it sounds like they aren't concerned. That's a good thing! I'm glad everything else looks good.

I had my appointment this morning and got in a power nap while waiting for the midwife. They are never late but I so needed the rest so it's a win-win. She gave me the go ahead to do my 5k walk next weekend as long as I'm feeling ok. I expect to have a 5k long contraction during it but as long as it's not progressing or hurting it won't hurt the baby at all. Also, baby is head down for the first time! She's still sideways but that's ok at this point.
So I had another appointment yesterday and they determined the bleeding was coming from my cervix, which is good considering it could be coming from the placenta or inside the uterus. This morning I'm pretty sure I lost all my mucus plug. I won't go into tmi but I'm pretty sure that's what it was. Anyone else lose part or all of theirs already?

It grows back if you're not actually going into labor already. With DS I lost mine in early labor, nothing before that. I wouldn't worry about it unless you start to have signs of labor.

I lost mine around 35 weeks with DD and didn't go into labor (I was induced at 38 weeks). You can lose it at any time now, and all should be ok. TMI warning: I've felt more discharge the last two days, and I've been wondering if that's what it is. It came out in once glob last time, so who knows.
We went for our 3D ultrasound this morning. This little booger wouldn't cooperate! First off, he was behind my belly button. I didn't realize that was an issue, but it creates a black spot on the ultrasound where you can't see anything. Then, his knee was in his face the whole time. If he would move his knee, he'd pull the cord in front of his face. We did hear a nice, strong heartbeat. We were able to see his hiccups on the ultrasound! I couldn't feel them, but it was so cool to see. We watched him kick himself in the forehead and he kind of jerked back in reaction. We're going back June 6th to see if he'll cooperate. She said it's usually much better if they're head down. Hopefully he'll decide to have turned by then!
I started losing my mucous plug yesterday. It only concerns me because in the past I have started dilated along with it. I don't think I've lost it this early in the past. It does grow back so hopefully I have nothing to worry about.
