Appointments coming up? Yes on Wednesday - just a visit with the MW but I'm expecting that she'll check heartbeat with a Doppler and maybe use the vscan (mini ultrasound) to take a peek.
How are you feeling? Pretty good. Starting to feel a bit less tired and only occasional nausea.
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? I started a daily baby aspirin on Friday (at 12w) to hopefully prevent pre-e.
QOTW: What's the first concert you ever attended? Meatloaf! Haha.

How far along are you? 14 weeks 1 day
Appointments coming up? Not until the end of May
How are you feeling? Good. Allergies suck though.
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? Hmmmm not really. I've been feeling baby move so that's cool
QOTW: What's the first concert you ever attended? Guster was probably the first non-little kid concert. I saw a couple others in high school (OK go, the Fray, the Hush Sound, another few I can't remember ). Saw Coldplay and Fallout boy freshman year of college. Lady Gaga senior year. True life I used to spend a decent amount of money on concert tickets and lived within a 45 min train ride of NYC.
Appointments coming up? Not until the end of the month.
How are you feeling? Okay. Still having on and off nausea and my headaches have been bad. I seem to have one more often than not nowadays. Just feel hungover most of the time. Maybe this time I'll get that infamous second tri energy..? Lots of stretching too. I'm definitely popping.
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? No upcoming appointments, but Natera patient portal says I'll have my panorama results by Thursday!
QOTW: What's the first concert you ever attended? Blink182! I'd see them again too if it was possible.
How are you feeling? I'm finally feeling a little better... Haven't thrown up in 2 days (with zofran), whereas before I was puking constantly, even with the zofran. I've left the house a few times!
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? Not yet. Hopefully we can hear the heartbeat on Thurs
QOTW: What's the first concert you ever attended? My friend's family had an extra John Mayer ticket, so they took me along.
How are you feeling? Very tired. I've had many wakeful nights recently and it's starting to take a toll. My skin is also a mess, but I think that has to do with my poor sleep habits.
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? I'll let you know tomorrow.
QOTW: What's the first concert you ever attended? 2001, NSYNC's Popodyssey Tour. It was the summer between 5th and 6th grade, I had just turned 11. I went with my neighbor, who was a year older, and our moms. We made custom matching t-shirts using computer images printed onto iron on sheets. My neighbor and I also had matching french braided pigtails that we dusted with glitter. The concert took place in our city's new football stadium. When we arrived, we learned that the section our seats were in wasn't actually finished yet, so we were upgraded to club seats. This was great news because it was a wet night and we were able to stay dry in somewhat luxury. It was an excellent time.
How are you feeling? Good! I've had some round ligament pain but the nausea is mostly gone.
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? No not really.
QOTW: What's the first concert you ever attended? I saw Shania Twain when I was young, I want to say I was 10 or so.. My grandpa is a huge fan so my parents bought him tickets. He was so excited and danced to almost every song.

How far along are you? 12w2d
Appointments coming up? Nope, just had my 12 week check up last week.
How are you feeling? I am in the "I don't feel pregnant" stage
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? Just heard the heartbeat in the 160s on the Doppler on Thursday! Dr said she could hear little kicks too!
QOTW: What's the first concert you ever attended? NSYNC in 6th grade. My friend's mom took her to camp out to get tickets for all of us. We were right in the front, screaming our heads off. We all had t-shirts, signs, and even NSYNC temporary tattoos on our cheeks.
How are you feeling? A little better. Still nauseous and puking and tired and now with pretty bad gas, but the nausea is a little better.
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? Got a little ultrasound yesterday at my appt. LO looked like it had it's hand over it's face. Cute
QOTW: What's the first concert you ever attended? Sister Hazel when they came to my college. I was a late bloomer, concert wise. lol
Me 37 DW 33 Married May2014 RIVF (her egg my basket) Nov2014 Due July2015 - Its a Boy!! RIVF Oct2016 Due July 2017 - twin msc March 13 transfer Due Nov 2017
Appointments coming up? Not until the 31st. Had my 12w last Friday.
How are you feeling? Still a bit nauseous at night and if I don't eat enough during the day but it is improving. Still having occasional spotting from the SCH but I think that is tapering down, hopefully. Waiting on the Panorama results but starting to feel like this is real.
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? All of my blood work came back normal, which is awesome because last time I had a false positive syphilis test that was ridiculous. We discussed our plan for the Makena injections. I will start them between 16 and 20 weeks, really depending on how soon we can get insurance figured out. This shit is way expensive (like $3000 for the amount I need) so I am hoping they can get at least some coverage. I am not looking forward to the shots but if it keeps us out of the NICU, I'll do whatever I have to. Also, I learned that my office no longer lets women over 35 go over 39 weeks so if, for some reason, I was able to make it to 39 weeks they will induce.
QOTW: What's the first concert you ever attended? It was either Paul McCartney or New Kids on the Block. I saw them both around the time I was 7 or 8 I think, but I am not sure which was first. My parents were recovering hippies and took me to a lot of good concerts, plus some not so good ones that I wanted to go to. I also saw Bob Dylan when I was in 7th grade.

Appointments coming up? Had an US yesterday and met with the specialist.
How are you feeling? Much better. I only take Zofran once a day now and I'm not puking anymore just some nausea here and there.
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? The specialist set me up with bi-weekly scans so that is going to be nice.
QOTW: What's the first concert you ever attended? Machinehead.
I like your Doc. Getting you in with a MFM early is awesome. Mine wont refer me to one until 18 weeks... blah
yeah the whole team is pretty awesome. I realize I'm lucky. He even gave me his cell and told me anytime I need to come in for an ultrasound to call him instead of the office so I'll get in sooner.
Appointments coming up? Nothing this week - regular OB appointment next week
How are you feeling? I am feeling pretty good. Had a massive migraine on Saturday that kinda ruined the entire day for me but it was gone on Sunday so that was relief! Other than that - just trucking along.
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? Nothing really
QOTW: What's the first concert you ever attended? My first concert ever was Conway Twitty - he was my mom's favorite singer I think I was like 10

How far along are you? 11w2d
Appointments coming up? May 24th
How are you feeling? not terrible at the moment. MS seems to be getting a little better and I figured out if I take my PNVs at night, I can keep them down.
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? nothing new. Haven't been to the dr in a while so hopefully at the next one we get the hear the heartbeat or something.
QOTW: What's the first concert you ever attended? Country Stampede when I was like 8 or 9 I think. It was a lot of fun. It was just my mom and sisters for the 3 day festival.

My maternal fetal specialist was my favorite doctor my last pregnancy. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was awesome. He's no longer at the practice and it makes me very sad I am hopeful that I will have a nice boring pregnancy though and won't need to see one. I hope everyone has good experiences with their specialists!

This Makena nonsense is going to push me over the edge. I've talked to several employees at my insurance company, doctor's office, and Makena over the last 24 hours just to get a straight answer on how much we will be paying out of pocket. I have get to receive said answer. Insurance can't decide if it will be billed at pharmaceutical or medical, but the doctor should have an estimate, the doctor said it *might* be $150 a month but to call Makena to verify because all they do is write the script, Makena says they just started processing my stuff but as soon as it's done they can forward me to the pharmacy in charge of my meds so I can ask them
Add this to my not sleeping and I just want to roll up in a ball and weep. Thankfully, my OB prescribed me Ambien today. I hope your Makena adventure is less stressful.

Makena live blog: Got a call from my pharmacy to verify my phone because the script is filled through their specialty pharmacy and they will be calling to ask the questions on shipping, etc. In the course of this conversation they told me that the script was from my fertility specialist...ummm, it should not be. So now I have a call in to my OB's office to see what is going on. No one has even started to discuss money with me. So, thus far it has been a mess. I would have to do some fancy footwork if they tell me it is going to be over $1000 so I wish someone would tell me the cost before they just fill the script all willy nilly.
I really hope it gets easier for you. It is bad enough we have to get stupid shots in our asses, we don't need hassle leading up to it!

How far along are you? 14w
Appointments coming up? Nope, one last week, and then not til the 1st.
How are you feeling? Pretty good. I get some headaches on and off, but they seem to go away when I have a tiny cup of coffee. It might be a placebo, but I like it since I'm actually enjoying coffee again! I don't know if anyone else gets SI pain? I did sometimes prior to pregnancy, but it's getting worse now. Also, yay second trimester!
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? Short appointment last week where I met the other midwife from the team. She was nice, but I think I like my regular one more. She found the heartbeat right away. My first set of blood tests came back great, go for more in a couple weeks to complete the two-test-for-genetic issues thing.
QOTW: What's the first concert you ever attended? I really don't remember. I don't recall going to any when I was a kid. We live in a fairly small town, so we don't really get a lot of well known people here. I think the first one I saw was Gob (Canadian band). I'm jealous of all the N Sync people, I didn't see JT until he was solo.
How are you feeling? I feel a bit hungover this morning, but all in all I've felt great. No more exhaustion.
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? Hopefully not. I like boring pregnancies.
QOTW: What's the first concert you ever attended? I liked to pretend I was punk as a teenager so there was this punk band that had one song on the radio at some point in time that came into town. I don't even remember the name of them. But upside down crosses carved into pumpkins seemed to be relevant.
