We're heading out for an early Mother's Day brunch this morning. I have been craving eggs benedict ever since my appetite returned. So excited to eat good food without weekend-level crowds!
I'm a fan of a good (and even not so good) pun as well.
Can fetal movement be painful? I haven't had anything that I'm like "okay, THAT was baby" but I keep getting little - almost like shocks that don't feel particularly good. It's a fleeting feeling and then i go back to feeling nothing.
IUI 1-3 BFN IVF #1 - Oct '15 - 10R, 3M, 0F IVF #2 - August 16 - 12R, 11M, 5F. 1 to transfer and 2 to freeze - BFP!! - MMC caught at 7w5d FET #1 - 1/26 - BFP, due 10/14

Cythe, definitely yes. Sometimes i will be cuddling DS and the inside baby will decide cuddle time is over and lash out, and it hurts. I don't remember movements hurting with DS until there wasn't room for them and he was still doing gymnastics.
I heard "I knew I loved you" on the radio about 2 years ago. And it made me think of DS and how much we prayed for him and loved him and couldn't wait to meet him. It just struck a nerve for me.
Well it came on pandora again today, and it made me think of this baby too. We have overcome infertility and loss to have both these babies and I can't wait to meet them. I truly love this baby even though we haven't "met."

yes! When DS got bigger, sometimes it felt like he grabbed a hold of the umbilical cord and yanked as hard as he could. I was NOT a fan.
ssm when I was driving to my first ultrasound with this baby, I was all by myself and "Over the Rainbow" came on the radio. I started bawling in my car because I knew it was going to be okay after that.

Less than 30 minutes until H and I find out if sequel is a boy or a girl... super excited.
Took DD back to preschool today since being sick and she didn't cry so I'm calling it a win. Currently sitting in Starbucks enjoying the free wifi and not having to look after a toddler... it's amazing
The sheriff pulled up outside my house - again. This is the 2nd time this month. They pull up (on the wrong side of the road, mind you) get out, check the address on a piece of paper and get back in their car.
I beg of you, police department, stop making me look bad in front of my neighbors. They've been trying to serve a woman who used to live at my house for like 3 years now.

My day started off terribly. It's getting better slowly, but man I'm ready to see 5:30. On a bright note, DD was saying "mama mama" when I left this morning (until recently it's only been dada).

DS is cranky that I've been packing instead of playing this morning. Sorry kid, the truck is here to fill on Friday. Someone has to pack. I'm pretty sure that if he could, he would climb right back in my uterus to keep his brother company today.

I thought I was having a boy until I started looking at pictures of when I was pregnant with DD and I look the same! Anyone have the opposite sex and have the same pregnant belly? Maybe it's too early to even compare idk !
This baby is making themself quite visible!! I swear I look twice as pregnant as I did with DS at this point. And I am carrying much higher than I did with him.
It is all just my stomach. I still wear my regular pants and skirts. And if you ignore the giant bags under my eyes, from the chest up, I look the same.
I won't know if it is a boy or girl until the 22nd though. So my irrelevant anecdote I guess. Lol

I had a girl last time and am definitely carrying lower with a boy this time. Other people have even commented that they could tell I was carrying lower this time.

Happy Wednesday! This morning I babysat for a friend with a 5 month old and a 2 year old, and it went better than expected. DS and her daughter played really well together, even though DS is going through a "mine" phase, he eventually gave in to sharing the toys. He also got pretty jealous when I first held and fed the baby, but thankfully he got over that too. I just hope he gets over it that quick again in 5 months, lol.

I'm carrying the exact same so far with opposite sex pregnancies.

Good to know! Either way boy or girl we will be over the moon! I guess the second time it's even more fun to guess and compare!
I finally had time to get my maternity clothes from the attic and my maternity pants are amazing! Why did I wait so long!?!
I broke out my maternity pants last week and I remembered how comfortable they were.
Then it got warm and I've been able to wear dresses/skirts this week and I remembered why I love them so much when pregnant. To me, even more comfortable than maternity pants.

Because you're all dying to know: my brunch was amazing. Like, we left the restaurant 6 hours ago and I'm still thinking about it. Plus they had a little box of toys and books to keep DD entertained, which was so great -- nothing like the novelty of "new" toys to keep a toddler's interest a little bit.

I hadn't kept a lot of maternity clothes, so I've got some coming from Old Navy tomorrow. I'm excited to expand the wardrobe. Lol I've been wearing the same tops over and over.
Exciting! I love finally getting to try on stuff that I've ordered online.
That said, I bought new stuff and I'm STILL wearing the same tops over and over! I feel like I just can't justify a ton of new clothes that I'll only wear for a few months (I mean, that's including PP cause I'm not delusional, but still).

I had identical pregnancies and have two boys. My SIL had wildly different pregnancies and she has two boys. The agony!

I love getting deliveries. I came home yesterday to the three pairs of shoes i ordered the other day. It's like Christmas.
On the topic of getting deliveries, my husband is in the Navy. One of his fellow sailors lives on the ship fulltime and can't have packages delivered, so my H told him he can use our address.
Never has anyone gotten so many packages. Be trolls me every week, me thinking I got something new and shiny. But noooo.

Nooo! I hate when I think I'm getting a package and it's just some boring fitness stuff that MH ordered.
