Stella Anne arrived May 9th at 8:09 am weighing 4 lbs 1 oz and 17 inches long. I was exactly 37 weeks. We opted for a c-section so as not to stress her during induction. We had her early due to IUGR and fluids around her began dropping. We had 4 doctors who watched us throughout the pregnancy and we were all so excited and surprised to get to 37 weeks! It was a rough journey with elevated AFP's, IUGR, false positive for cmv, gestational diabetes and group strep b positive. I've never cried and felt more nervous in my life! It was all worth it though and we are so in love with our little peanut!
Stella did not have to go to the NiCu either! She had to be over 1800 grams and she was 1850! She was also breathing well on her own and came out screaming. She had a few low temps but skin to skin and warm blankets helped. Her first few sugars were good but then started dropping and got low to around 26. It was a scary first night but we have her on formula now and that has helped. I'm trying to pump now too to mix with formula. She is just not strong enough to nurse yet but hopefully soon we can try again. We just want her to get bigger and keep her sugars normal.
She also passed her car seat test this morning! We were worried since she dropped to 3 lbs 13 oz but she did great!
Thanks for all the support before and during pregnancy!

Your post made me cry. I am glad she is doing alright. Congratulations to you! I hope you are well. This has all become possible because of your confidence and strength. I am extremely proud of you. With all that pain that you had to go through I am sure it must have been all worth it. Infertility journey is difficult to be one, however, once it is over life finally has a meaning attached to it. Your meaning is finally here. I myself am going through an assisted conception treatment. I hope it works out and I am able to carry my bundle of joy. The clinic I visit it is such a good site to see treatments working out for couples. The happiness on their faces can never be expressed in words. I hope all those who are trying to conceive are able to. Good luck!

Hey airbear. Congratulations on your baby! I'm really happy for you. It brings me true joy to see someone succeed on their journey. It's absolutely amazing that you guys got blessed with such a beautiful little baby. You are a true inspiration for all the women here who are looking for success stories.I know it must've been hard to get through your pregnancy but i'm really glad you went with it. Props to your husband for staying with you in this time of need. He deserves an applause as well. Goodluck with your baby. Congrats again!
Hey, your post made me so happy. Congratulations dear to have this little angel in your life. You are quite lucky to have succeed to have your own child. I am also an infertile and after being hopeless for a long time, I finally decided to go for surrogacy. I heard about Adonis fertility clinic in Ukraine but didnt get good response. Both on email and phone calls they were not friendly and refused to share details over call. They want me to visit to get detailed information. But I wanted to get initial details before visiting as I have to fly from Ireland to Ukraine.
Hey there, I am feeling better after reading these comments. Here in Europe, I have heard about the clinic from my friend. They really helped me in my time period of MC. They helped with their counseling facility to fight with the loss and grief. And now, I am all ready to have my own baby through surrogacy. They guided me so well about my MC. They informed me about my infertility. I was much grieved. But they helped me well to cope with the situation. So I and my husband finally decided to have a surrogate baby. They also provide the sessions about the surrogating. I was scared to go for surrogating but they helped me there too. I selected a healthy surrogate mother from there. Now she is carrying my baby and 5months pregnant. Surrogate is a blessing for mothers like me.
Hey there. WOW. Your kids are beautiful. I am so happy for you. This is a beautiful post. So motivational. That there is hope for everyone. We should not just lose hope.

I was so happy to see this post and found out your comment here. Well, What's more, beautiful to have our kid. especially after going through a lot. And facing that long journey of infertility with a lot of barriers and consequences. It's really hard i can totally understand. Sorry to hear about your infertility. The experience of yours with the clinic is very disappointing. Well, Usually these clinics do refuse to talk on call and share the details for the unknown reasons. Which of course bother us. Im sure by now you have found a good clinic there in Ukraine. I assume that you already had researched about the clinic you wanted to visit but seems like you haven't it's fine. The one i visited in Ukraine was a very good one i must say. They were extremely professional with their work and very nice and cooperative with every stage of mine. I would recommend you to visit them. Im sure you will have the same experience.
Aww..... so adorable!! Much love to this tiny little bundle. I am glad that thee are such inspiring stories that motivate others to believe in miracles. Because infertility is so widespread that it has affected most of the woman today. And the fertility treatments available are done after so many years of heartbreak. What did you name her?

Hey There, you have said it right. These success stories help people and motivate them to fight against infertility. It's widespread and I think only the awareness of the causes and preventions can help people. Especially choosing the right clinic is very important. I had chosen this clinic in Ukraine which provides the most professional and affordable services to the infertile people.
