tortor4 yes for some reason the RnP is like bait for toddlers! H tries to climb in with J too...or lift him out, which is also terrifying. Overall, newborn + 2 yr old = stressful! I just said to my DH, "Remember when H was 17 days old and we thought it was really stressful and were exhausted all the time? wtf was wrong with us?" LOL
My ILs left today so now it's really game time...just the 4 of us! Time to get into a routine that works for us. I've been picking H up the past few days because I'm going to have to when it's just us next week and now I'm sore. The OB said I could lift her carefully after 2 weeks, so I'm in the time frame, but surprised by how much it still hurts. I feel bad cuz DH planned a trip to the D.C. Zoo for Mother's Day tomorrow and is so excited about it, and now walking sounds torturous.
We replaced all of our windows several years ago and finally got around to selling about half of the old wood window sashes on CL and got $80 for them! We were pretty much ready to give them away for free just to get them out of the barn so the extra money is nice. Especially since I already spent that and more at Target today.
Went out with the whole fam for an early Mother's Day dinner and my 3 year-old nephew spent the majority of the meal sitting in my lap rubbing my belly saying "come out new baby!" 😂 hopefully that plus the storm we have coming tonight will be good luck haha!

DS slept all day and went longer between bottles. Now he has been crying for a bottle every hour to hour and a half. Hopefully he gets full soon because it's gonna be a long night if not. I never knew FF babies could cluster feed but DD was not an eater so this is new to me.

Oh yes, they can.. hunker down, burp him a lot, and rotate with your H as needed. Having a few bottles in the fridge prepped and ready to go helps as well
