What is everyone up to??
We just got back from a walk to the park and I'm digging my bowl of soup for lunch. I see my same soup craving is holding up for this pregnancy too. It's like the only way to fill my stomach with something that's texture doesn't make me gag. Living on tomato soup!

We took advantage of my lack of nausea and went to buy our new car. I love it and DH is proud that we got it below invoice. We're having dinner with fil/smil soon and will tell them about the pregnancy so they can cut us some slack when we go to Arizona this week.

Hey ladies! I've been MIA...DH is "in the field" aka away for work and this week has totally kicked my butt. I finally got a cat nap in today while DD napped. My parents arrive Tuesday and I can't wait for DD to have people around that aren't as lame as I've been! Hope you're all doing well!

We braved ikea yesterday and as I was starving I had meatballs for lunch. Result was feeling stuffed and super bloated until 10pm...
About to go for a walk in the forest, hopefully that makes me feel better as I feel bloated and a bit icky. I'm happy/paranoid not to have morning sickness proper but I'm not enjoying the constant bloat and vague ickiness between meals! I can't even take ad of the lack of appetite!

Happy Mother's Day to everyone!
DD kicked off the day by waking me up at 5:30 am and then had a fit when I wouldn't let her eat chapstick...gotta love toddlers, right?! I'm hoping I can sneak in a nap once she goes down for hers!

So sorry I have been MIA lately. Went to float the river this weekend where I had zero service (welcome break) then shot over to my BFF's to have a joint birthday party for her 5 and 1 year old. Finally home and it feels nice.
Have an ultrasound and appointment tomorrow. I'm getting excited. Pretty much everyone knows bit will make it FB official if we get a clean bill of health.
Happy Mother's Day! Had a mommy and me session and she's unable to post any on FB because I have a belly in all of them lol. But she did sent me this which I love (and yes the cloud is fake to cover my name haha)

Ugh. Anyone else getting hot flashes? One minute I'm freezing, the next I am sweating to death. This was not a problem with my first pregnancy but it is driving me crazy. I can't figure out how to dress.
I had a simple weekend/Mother's Day. Just brunch earlier today. My husband made me pancakes this morning which was a first. He also did most of the parenting. It was perfect.
Happy mother's day all! I hope it was a great day for all of you!
We had my parents and in-laws over for a bbq. It was a little stressful since my husband, bil and fil were putting the new grill together while I was prepping, so I was just hoping all would work out. But it did, food was good and we had a great time.
Oh my blump is for real! I think it's partially because it grew to 11 weeks only 4 months ago, so it didn't tighten up much before bumping back out.
Tonight went well. They are so excited. We gave lots of * warnings that it is still earlier than last loss and we don't know if something would happen. But it felt nice to verbalize it.

I am so sick this weekend with a cold. It's difficult to sleep. The mucus has made me extra nauseous and I've thrown up a bunch. I'm trying to get through it with the usual legal things...saline spray, vitamins, rest, liquids, hot showers... but man do I miss the good stuff that knocks you out until it's over.
Over the next 10 work days I have a daily field trip with my class, only 1 chaperone who could come, and I have to pack up my entire classroom by the end of it because they are moving us before the school year ends. That means my class and I will be in my new room for the last two weeks of school. I'm basically praying that 2nd tri energy somehow kicks in for me early.
