I think we're going to cut M back on his liquids at night. He keeps peeing through his diaper several nights a week. He's already in a size 5 diaper when he could wear a size 4. We've been using pampers overnight, maybe we will try another overnight brand. Anyone else having this problem?

I just came to this conclusion this morning! Today was the 3rd time in the last week A has woken up soaked. I'm just going to cut back on her milk before bed.
ETA: she also sleeps with her butt in the air so the front of her diaper is beyond full where the back is hardly touched so there's that factor as well

I don't usually babysit today but my regular girl's mom called me last night in a panic so we have our Zoey. Its going to be HOT.. I'm not prepared for such high temps but I've got the kiddie pool ready and some water activities planned so hopefully we can have some outside fun without melting.
In the TMI department... I had the most disappointing sex ever last night. I have been in the mood, but have had my period, so it was finally done and I told H I wanted to have sex later if he could pencil me in (joking of course, just wanted to get him to laugh) so maybe he was thinking about it all day and was too built up by the time A went to bed? It was over before I barely started and he continued to try even though he was done and it was just awkward. I'm a bit grumpy about it today.
Probably going to poof that ^^^ so PDQ. I don't usually share stuff like that but it's really on my mind.
taketheshot M sleeps in either that position or just flat on his stomach. I might go ahead and size up as well. So tired of changing sheets all the time.

@janetheconquerer, in terms of the temp. I usually don't give medicine for anything under 102. I feel that the fever is there for a reason, the body is fighting something, so let it do it's job. But over 102 then I give the medication. What are her other symptoms? I will be honest, I am a bit more of a wait and see as well, depending on symptoms. Like if she is pulling her ears and you suspect EI, then call. Needs to be treated. But if she has a bit of a cough, maybe runny nose and a fever, I would probably give it 2-3 days monitoring that the fever doesn't go beyond 102 for extended periods, and treat the other symptoms (fluids, cool baths etc.). That's just what I do. You you know girl best, so go with your gut.

@janetheconquerer I do the same as redandblue when treating fevers. Unless they are acting like they are miserable, no meds until 102 or higher. I, however, am one that gives higher fevers two days and them calls the pediatrician (again, unless there are other symptoms, then I usually call on day 2). I have PTSD from DS and his ear infections that I have a hard time with wait and see.
Planning a weekend visit with cousins and refer to my uncle's house as the "old folks home" because all of our parents are staying there. 🤣🤣 The rest of us are keeping kids at a hotel because of pool access and so they can play together.

Here! A is currently in a size 6 overnight (and a 4 during the day) and pees thru her diaper at least 2x a week. I just got some huggies overnights to try and see if switching brands will help? She gets her last drink at 6:30, and is in bed at 7:30 so I'd really rather not restrict her liquids any further.

Yeah, I don't like restricting drinks, but he'll drink two cups of water and a cup of milk once we get home if I'll let him. I'm thinking I'll try Huggies as well.
taketheshot, i was doing it. I got off track from traveling but it was working. it helped me sleep, curbed my appetite and i felt less bloated. I plan on starting again on monday and finishing what i have and getting some more.
Heyo . I just played a few hours of pool volleyball. My absolute favorite. We got massages today and I drank so so,much. H hasn't felt good all day so he basically slept on the beach bed all day and I drank and socialized all day.
