Good morning! Yesterday I couldn't play much here because I worked all day and then was waaaaaaay too tired to do anything. Today will be spent cleaning and organizing. I also want to play outside with G for a little while. It's supposed to be beautiful out for the next few days. I hope everyone is getting sleep and feeling good.

Hi ladies! My husband has an injury is the cartilage in between his ribcage and is in a lot of pain. One of his buddies gave him a bear hug to thank him for helping him move, and he did it so rough that it actually damaged the cartilage. The doctor said nothing can be done about it but taking ibuprofen.

hotcoconuts82 - Thank you. We think the cartilage may have already been weak from an injury 6 years ago when he was hit with a metal bat in the same area while at a baseball practice (total accident). It can take up to 6 months to heal again.
Well, we paid for the 3 hour nap. M was awake fussing on and off until almost 10pm and then up before 6:30. Ugh.
Today we have her 2yr visit, then we'll probably stop at the park on the way home.
Ugggh. I feel you. Eli has been skipping naps in the day then falling asleep on the floor at 5pm for a quick cat nap before dinner. This has caused a chain reaction and now he is up until 10 or 11 every night. My DH and I now have zero quiet time.
So does anyone else look at their kid and think they have a massive pot belly?!
H sent me a video of C playing with her water table yesterday and all I kept thinking was 'girl has such a pot belly'. But in person I don't notice it as much? Maybe I'm just being a paranoid mom.
G has one until she poops 😂 After she poops it goes away. It's so funny.
The dr's was a little rough. I didn't think she needed any shots but she needed her HepA since she couldn't get it at 18m since her 12m one was late, ugh. And she had a meltdown with the finger stick. So sad. But she recovered quickly, especially with the lure of the park.

what were they checking with the fiver stick? We didn't have that at our 2yr apt. We did have the hepA shot though

Hemoglobin and lead. We live in area with some high risk zip codes for lead so maybe that's why.
Sooooo.... I have a squinter of a BFP. I took a dollar store test because I'm feeling off and even though we've been preventing, we def had a mix up and had sex during my FW... I got a shadow of a line!! I'm due for AF today, so it's still super early. But I went out to the store to grab some more reliable tests (accidentally biught blue dye 🙄). Sure enough, a squinter!! I'm not 100% calling it yet... I probably could because I'm well aware that a line is a line. ***TW***... but I'm scared as shit since my last BFP didn't end so great... ahh!! So many emotions

Omg, that's so exciting! I remember with M after my loss I was just all over the place. I'm keeping everything crossed this is it for you.

Ds had a huge breakfast the other day. When he got up from the table his belly was sticking out of his shirt. He always has a little bit of a belly but it really pops after a big meal.

Hi mamas!
I haven't checked in here in months, and am so excited to see that there are going to be new little babies joining the May mamas family.
Things have been very busy for me, I have now changed jobs twice since Thanksgiving, but am finally in a good place there. We also bought my grandmothers house in February and moved within a few weeks of deciding to buy it, so it was a whirlwind.
L, C, and I have been passing around strep throat for the last month and a half (i've had it three times!) so I am just so ready for our house to be healthy again.
I hope to stop by more often now that life has calmed down for a minute. I hope you will all still have me.
