How are you guys?? Ive been mia- because 5 kids is rough lol. Fun but so exhausting. Add to that basically working full time again and I'm lucky if I remember to schedule in time to poop. Every day I mean to pop in and every day slips by. So how are you all???
Good morning! Hope everyone had a good night. Sleep regression can take a long walk off a short bridge over here.
On top of that R is refusing the bottle except for his early morning feed so right now I am sitting in his dark room with the sound on trying to get him to eat breakfast. It actually seems to be working, now hopefully dd is still peacefully watching secret life of pets and not destroying my living room.
meeggaannw omg yes the sleep regression is complete bullshit. C just started with those shenanigans and I JUST got L through the 18 month one- between these kids I haven't sttn in 4 months. 🖕you sleep regressions.

Hiiiieeee ashtog! So glad you had a second to pop in! I hope this regression is short for you so you can get some more sleep!
I'm here, and sleepy once again. Noah was up twice and we had storms in the night so DD spent most of the night in our bed. Even though I have low supply I'm so tempted to give up the MOTN pump. I know there are plenty of people who have it worse than me, but I'm really struggling with the lack of sleep. 5 broken hours a night just isn't cutting it.
Otherwise Noah's 6 month appointment went well. There's a measles outbreak here so all kids under the age of 10 had to wear masks. He handled it better than I thought! He's just shy of 15 pounds and 26 inches long, which means he's actually on the charts for a full term 6 month baby (7% and 10%). And he has a humongous head. Like 72% huge. But his sister was the same way so the pedi wasn't concerned.
Also I've decided since tapatalk will not give me paragraphs I'm going to use a gif for all my transitions.
R just took his bottle in 12 minutes, it has been taking me almost an hour to get him to take it the last few mornings. I guess he was getting distracted. Also came back to dd painting the couch with her milk cup. So I guess you win some you lose some.

summergirl1211, yay for good stats. E is at 9% for weight and in the regular chart, also for head growth but not for height yet. E had a big head growth spurt from 4 month to 6 month appointment so we have to go back early June for another head growth check to make sure nothing is wrong.
Dd has gotten up twice the last few nights so I add me to the sleep related troubles. It's definetely putting me in a grumpy mood.
The weather is perfect, a great park day! My friend's baby just turned two months. I did not get baby fever. Maybe because dd isn't old enough yet. Hmmmm.
MissDemeanor and ellabee hope your little ones are on the up and up today! Also how is your finger missdemeanor?
We are firing our sitter because she was a no-show again this morning. I already left a message for her letting her know we're looking for new childcare but we expect her to finish out this work week and might have to work next week if we can't find someone in time. One of H's coworkers gave us her in-home daycare provider's info so H contacted her and she can take DS1 but W is going to need to be wait-listed until she has an infant opening. So now we have to find another care provider for him. I'm just so done. SMH
In better news, I get our new puppy tomorrow!!! And I'm not dying nearly as bad I thought I would after my first day of couch to 5k.

ashtog, she's so freaking adorable! And the hair, there's so much! Can I borrow some for Noah?
thelittleredm, oh lady I'm sorry. Who does that to people? I hope you can find something quickly. Big hugs. Also, can you share a pic of the puppy tomorrow? So fun!
peaseblossom55, hopefully E's head growth is nothing to worry about and we both just have big headed babies.
Hugs judyblume14 and lakegirl, and anyone else who isn't getting enough sleep. One day we will sleep again.

summergirl1211, Absolutely, I will! And right? Like, she knows she's a super heavy sleeper so why the fuck would you stay out all night??? -.- Or find an alarm clock that actually wakes you up. Put it in the fucking bed with you for all I care.

Did someone say "BrazilianPeach" three times cause heeeeeere I aaaaam. Everything is good here. Lu.cas sleeps through the night most nights except for a few flukes when he gets fussy. Last night for example he decided he would only sleep with my boob in his mouth. A paci wouldn't do, just my lap wouldn't do, dad's lap? No bueno. Only mommy's boob would do. Fantastic, kid! Only I need to sleep too so some time past 2am I put him in his swing and let him complain. Worked like a charm! He sits, dances, almost rolls all the way, and is beginning to show interest in food. We're introducing food at the end of the month and I'm already reading up on making my own baby food. I'm going to give it a shot.
AFM I lost the baby weight and then some (over 30lbs weight loss) but the belly is not going. I figured it'll be a while before it fully goes back so I'm trying to be patient.
If you made it this far you get a picture that may go *poof* soon
