kaits8 - I went the hormonal IUD route this time and also have adult acne. It's at the same level it was when I was on a birth control pill, and definitely not any worse. Maybe someday I'll outgrow the acne..and probably replace it with wrinkles.
That's really good to know! I was on a pill for 10 years for it (although the last few years before I went off it to have kids my skin sucked anyways), so I'm nervous to try something that Dr Google says can make it worse. I haven't had really bad skin (although very far from perfect or even just clear skin) since dd1 was born so I'm really hopeful it stays this way. It's so embarrassing being an adult and having teenage looking skin.
A will not nap today and I've had about enough. I just looked her in the eye and screamed "SHUT THE HELL UP!". So that's how my afternoon is going..
I'm glad I'm not alone. Then I asked H to come home after work and get his hair cut another day and now he's pissed at me because "he comes home and all he gets is attitude from me". Well, H, I didn't ask you to come home because everything was sunshine and butterflies. I know I shouldn't and I try not to take it out on him but he confuses me taking it out on him and me just being angry at life in general. I'm glad I bought myself a bottle of tequila yesterday..*makes self a margarita and considers letting H feed a bottle while I get a buzz going*..
renegadewhit J got totally fussy around 10 weeks too! Not sure what it was, but wanted to chime in to say my sisters son popped his first tooth at 12 weeks. 😂
when was his due date? It's possible he's going through a wonder week. A has been super fussy during her current leap and her 5 week leap.
he's 10 weeks old, and he was born just 2 days before his due date. I brought the wonder week book home from the library but haven't cracked it yet.
This sounds crazy, but with the insane amount of drooling and gumming everything, I'm wondering if his gums hurt. Even if he doesn't get his first tooth for awhile, maybe there's something going on in there?
my nephew had two teeth at two months. So yeah, something could be happening.

We shared a similar anecdote. Lol
My family is full of early teeth kids. DS had all his teeth at 11 months. That was rough.

I was just coming in to complain that my normally happy baby is fussy and isosed today. He's been awake since 11:30....he'll doze off, and then almost immediately wake himself up. It's been hours. He was ten weeks yesterday. Dear God, I never even imagined that he could be teething already.
Fussing, drooling, and gumming on things could mean teeth, but could also just be babies doing baby things.
DS1 drooled and gummed on things for 6-ish months before his first teeth started cutting at about 8.5 months. /anecdote
In addition, 10 weeks is also when babies typically start drooling more - they're producing more saliva, and they usually don't swallow it. So it just drools out.
You can check to see if the gums are puffy in the bottom front, or if you see a white area there that could be a tooth.
Ugh. I just bought the piano gym too. We already have a Skip Hop gym from DS1 buuuuuut the idea of DS2 kicking the little piano keys put me over the edge.

DH just took DS1 to a baseball game. I don't even know what to do with myself! What should I order for dinner? Or should I get out of the house with just one kid? So many choices! lol
My landlord is the worst! He called tonight to tell us what everyone is complaining about and how we can fix it. Ah, last time I checked dude we are renting so it should be on you.

WTF to your landlord?
Right. Like dude, not my problem people are complaining
Hi all! I've been MIA the last few days as we were visiting family. It was so nice to spend Mother's Day with my mom for the first time in years and the first time since I've had kids. DS and DD were thoroughly spoiled by grandparents, great-grandparents, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles, and even great-great-aunts.
