I woke up to a thunderstorm at 5am and then took a shower and couldn't go back to sleep. I went to my 39 week appt yesterday even though I'm not 39 weeks til tomorrow. Absolutely nothing going on down there which is no surprise. I'm starting to feel like this baby is going to be late like DS was. I'm getting to that point of feeling pretty done, but I need this poison ivy to clear up first. My mom is coming to town on Saturday which is exciting! That'll hopefully help distract me.
Just hanging out, "working" from home, and waiting for this baby to decide to show up. I have OB tomorrow if I don't go into labor today, interested to see if all this cramping over the past few days has made any progress..
Man, logistics in bed are tough at 9 mos pregnant... trying to help things along though, so we managed.
DS has been super mama's boy the past few days. I think he may be figuring out something's up.
irish14, BabyStandish, interesting, I have yet to have one. Although I did skip last week's appt since I met with the MW and OB for the ECV. We'll see what they say today!
I took some of the glue off and the incision feels kind of raw. So I basically traded one pain for another. But I did buy a postpartum support belt yesterday and that seems to help some of the pain so I may give the incision a little more time to heal before taking off more of the glue.
Me: 32, Wife: 38, Together for 5 years, Married for 2 years IUI #1 (8/2016): Letrozole, Ovidrel, Crinone = BFN IUI #2 (9/2016): Letrozole, Ovidrel, Endometrin = BFP!! EDD 5/26/17
I'll have to take a bump pic later. I am huge these days lol. And I'm starting to get convinced I'll still be pg at 41 weeks. I have this weird stomach pain today that doesn't feel like a contraction or gas but I can't figure out what it is. It's very localized to one area and not subsiding. Might be muscular from yoga last night but doesn't quite feel like that either.

It's supposed to be like 90 today, which is unseasonably high for us. I wish I had a pool for DS to play in but all we had last year was a little baby one and he'd definitely be too big for it now. I thought about going to get one but then it occurred to be that there's no way I could fit one of those plastic ones in my trunk.
Also, still pregnant but since it's my mom's weekend to work (she's a nurse and my childcare) I need to keep this baby in for another week in order for H be able to be with me at the hospital. *Sobs*
Just DD2 and I at home today, which I'm kind of looking forward to. Having DD1 here gives me no time to focus on DD2 and I felt like I was neglecting her yesterday. DD1 was also not thrilled with sharing the attention, so it's good for her to be getting out to play with her daycare friends. I no longer have the guilt for sending her twice a week...
jmcbick Glad to know I'm not alone. I wouldn't be winning any mother of the year awards right now. So much TV.
I am totally in this club. I'm very happy my parents are in town, DS gets lots of attention that way. Though he still makes me sit on the floor to play with him a fair amount, ouch!

I'm a +1 to TV parenting these days. Sorry kid, but at least you can learn something from one of your animal shows
Major nausea here today. I'm blaming the heat - I'm a super sensitive Sally to temperature right now, so I'm going to go lay next to a fan with a cup of ice and see how I do.
PirateCat my OB with DS1 didn't do them until 39 weeks. My MW practice this time around started at 38 weeks or would offer earlier if you were having contractions.
lupincat DS1 got so much tv time the last few weeks, it isn't funny. Thomas the train and Daniel Tiger are the only things we've watched with him home for weeks lately 🙈
I worked out! Granted, it was only 20 minutes and not super intense, but considering I haven't done much since I got pregnant with DS2.. my FTG Tula should be in tomorrow so I can start going on walks with DS2 during the day. I hate strollers and my RSs that I loved with DS1 aren't cutting it for me this time :/

So I have a job interview within my same department but for a management position (that unexpectedly vacated) TOMORROW. Like I applied last night and they called this morning. I'll be 39w tomorrow... I don't have interview clothes to accommodate this but they told me they need to fill it immediately, especially if they go with an "internal candidate" because they would then need to open that candidates position. Im qualified and and hoping so hard I get it, but holy crap I'm nervous and very much pregnant.
Send me all the positive thoughts and prayers! Also, I may be posting outfits- I'll need some help figuring out what to wear.
My other random is i watched the season finale of Chicago fire this morning, and all the cliffhanger did was piss me off. Sigh. Now I have to wait until fall for resolution. Bleh

Same! The smile on DD's face today when we picked her up and all the excitement she showed while telling me about her day with her friends made me feel so much better about sending her part time plus baby boy and I got some snuggles! It's hard to juggle a needy toddler and a newborn!
Today is DH & my 9-year wedding anniversary, and I think LO will be joining us on our date while my sister watches DD. Watching both of them is so much work right now, I feel too bad to ask anyone to do so yet.
Here are the cuties: 3 weeks old today!
DD will not tolerate J doing anything that she can't also do, so when we put him on the ground on his blanket, down she goes as well!
Sassy much? This particular moment came on the heels of me saying that no, we aren't leaving baby Jaryd inside while we go out to play 🙄
