I haven't read through the million page state of the board thread, but there was a post today on parenting that some people are possibly leaving TCF to find a new home. Are any SAIFers planning on leaving? I like it here and really hope our home doesn't fall apart.

I haven't really had time to read the zillion pages of it. I haven't been around the past month or so, but I'll still be sticking around (just not as daily as I used to)
I will be here I think what's going on especially to Naria is horrendous considering all she has been through to get pregnant and stay that way especially having HG. Of all places we all should understand that she can't devout her time here right now. I'm disgusted.

I'm glad everyone who has responded is planning on staying. We really need to all make an effort (myself included) to post more so that our board doesn't die. With the collapse of parenting and very little influx of new posters, TCF is going to have a hard time staying afloat. We need to show the admins that the IF/loss/TTC communities are worth keeping.

I feel like this all came out of no where... maybe bc I only really hang out here and on NJCD board so perhaps I was clueless. I don't want to move. Seems like a lot of work.

I'm a little confused. They keep referring to the IF/loss communities being pushed out of TCF. Can someone fill in the blanks or point me in the right direction for the info on this?
I have been a part of the IF community for 5 years, and I have not felt "pushed out" by the current admins at all. I think all of the boards in the IF community have drastically slowed with participation, but not because we are being pushed aside. Am I missing something?
It's referring to @ketchup getting de-modded without her or her board (PAIF) getting an actual explanation and all of the mess that followed. In January, I think? The whole thing left a bad taste in a lot of our mouths and that's a big part of why there are so few posters these days. Admin ghosted us rather than give real answers.

I don't have as much to say as I used to. I think I summed it up when I said that as people grow, things change. I don't take the boards very personally. I'm over on Facebook, but I'll be here too. I don't think SM is the place for me and so far all of my boards are staying.

karabear4409 it's talking about making if related stuff a sub board so you have to pass through another board to get there so it's not so visible to the public so the forum would be more attractive to newbies.

Yeah I'm sort of hit or miss depending how busy I am but have no desire to transition to SM. If the board implodes (and I hope it doesn't), I'll just keep posting on FB.

I don't know what is going up right now. But if anyone has a birth story or IF past or anything else they need to save, please see instructions:
You can export your entire post history.
From desktop, click little gray gear at the bottom right of your window. Then click export (second from bottom). Select the forum, select the account, click submit. It takes a few mins (especially if you have a lonnnnng history). Refresh the page a few times. Option appears to Click to Show Recently Exported Data. Click it. Two files: one with your messages, one with your posts. NOTE, it's a spreadsheet. Not pretty... but all your content is there. Download and keep forever.

Thanks, TJ. Things are getting crazy around here. I would recommend people check out the "Let's have the talk thread" (things get interesting around page 26ish if on mobile).

I'm finding that I have some anxiety over this. I had just come out of lurkdom on TD when the exodus happened. So this place has been my home through everything. But after tonight's revelations, I really don't know that I will stick around. Or if I do, it won't feel the same. I don't know. I need to stop reading and go the fuck to sleep.
