I'm voting stay for now and on the long run make a choice once things calm down.
I agree. From what I've been able to read in the long threads I can see why people are frustred here but I don't think taking over another groups community is the right answer.
I'm voting stay...I mostly just post in here and Toddlers and I am so behind on what is going on. I am trying to catch up but I'm two days behind still!

So I feel like the creating of FFFC solidifies that Parenting is most definitely making the move over there. I don't want to have to use two separate forums for my BMBs and Parenting. (Although I would)....But I feel like if parenting leaves for good- everything else will fizzle out pretty quickly. Even before this things were slow pretty much everywhere except Parenting...

I agree our BmB is dying a slow death, along with the rest of the board. But it looks like SM isn't so happy about this and there is no "better" option. We start over, this will happen again at some point.
Our BMB will likely die at some point. We all knew this from the start. But just because it's going to die doesn't mean we shouldn't enjoy it while it's still alive.
I don't really like all the separation of topics and the strict adhering to the topic. I have a few boards bookmarked on TCF and I check those when I have time. I don't have time or desire to navigate through a bunch of different boards.
I also think a lot of people were mad and wanted to do something to show the admins...something to stick it to them. I think it was hasty and not well thought out.

Same! I have my boards and no time to run around checking a bunch of places. I know there's the most recently active thing but that's clunky at best.
I think people realize it was hasty and not well thought out and that's why "talks" and threads about what to do keep being created instead of just going and being done with TCF. When we left TB there was no discussion about staying and no looking back.
