Update on Status of the Board (XP from CAL)

I posted this update to CAL and wanted to share it with CAR in case you do not lurk over there:
I know there has been a lot of anxiety about whether we would suddenly lose our home. With those concerns in mind, and because many rumors were swirling around the different boards, I reached out to the admin team for an update on the status of the forum. Per the admin team, there is no plans to close the forum down. The lights will stay on and anyone that wants to stay is welcome. They also understand that some people want to leave and are working through the content deletion requests of those members.
The past week has been very emotional for many of our members and some may feel that they cannot stay. I think we are all working towards the common goal of not wanting to lose anyone and to make sure no one is left behind. hawkward has created an alternate pro-board for the loss community with our familiar sub boards. We understand the above board may be a temporary space until we decide where our home is but we are committed to protecting the loss community and making sure everyone is able to post in an environment where they feel comfortable.
