Let's pick a time for discussion

So it's obvious we need to have a discussion on what we want to do. Let's vote on a day (there's a poll for those on tapa) and try and hold discussions until then.

We all know we want to stay together, we have an amazing group and I don't want to lose you ladies.

I think Monday is out for our Canadian friends, due to the holiday. And Friday may be tough here with the start of the long weekend in the US.

I can't see the poll on Tapa, but my vote is Tues, Weds or Thurs.

Same. Also, It might be helpful to see what the main TCF consensus is, and I think that will be figured out by Monday.

At the moment Tuesday is in the lead. I also think knowing what the main group is doing would be helpful.

So I was reading on the politics board and there is talk of not rushing the decision and taking time to really discuss what's going to happen. I think this is wise, but would make this poll irrelevant. So I'm going to lock it. I'm thinking maybe we have a recap thread that those of us who are able to keep up with the discussions that happen on either or both of the boards can post it in. Then as finds decisions are made we will have that to reference as we decide what to do as a group. Because 100% my desire is to keep this group in tact.

I posted on the politics board asking if it was possible to have a post recapping what was decided or proposed each day. No response yet, but hopefully that can happen.

That sounds good. I just can't sift through 100+ pages daily

During the day is hard for me, especially in the afternoons when I'm at work. But I realize that's probably what's best for everyone else. I may be able to check in here and there during the mornings and will make my best attempt to do that on whatever day we choose to talk about this. My one request is that as decisions are made, there is time left over the course of a full day for everyone to check in, even if the bulk of the conversation happens earlier in the day.

aydee I totally agree that this should be discussed with time for everyone to check-in and comment. I don't think any of us are trying to rush a decision.

layloo08, this is my frustration as well. I posted mainly on Parenting and here, but now I have to check here and then 2 other separate boards for a mix of Parenting basically. It's annoying and I hope a decision is made soon.

But I'll say that I'm pretty sure I don't want to stay here on this site. I'm not happy with how everything has gone down, and now Theo is gone and bibs is stepping down which just leaves the HBIC.
