There were times I have asked the customer service desk to keep my cart at the grocery store so I could decompress my kid. He was a total nightmare. I had to take him out of store, shut him in my car, strapped into his car seat to let him have his little shit fit before returning back to the store to finish our shopping. I now make sure any time I see the crazy come out in another kid to tell the mom, "girl, I've been there. Do what you gotta do." No judgment from me, ever.
That sounds like the types of fits my kid can throw! Like he has a lot of time and energy to burn so he really puts his all into it.

That is such a great idea! It's amazing how strangers will help and not just pass judgment. Whether it's a simple "girl, I've been there." or help you bag your groceries (at Aldi, for instance) or try to distract your child from a downward spiral about wanting a donut in the middle of church.
