Y'all are cracking me up with this map talk. I'll take any subject in school minus computers. I cheated my way to an A in typing class. No regrets.
goldenlove3 he mentioned waiting for the follow up to discuss scheduling. He didn't specify what..although I'm assuming he meant surgery. Idk what I'll do. I would like to put it off as long as possible, but that's just prolonging the inevitable. Did your H have his out?
kleigh buuuuut the chocolate doesn't get all melty?!! And an ulcer would totally be easier to heal just because it means no surgery. I would be ever so thankful if that's what it ends up being.
@tgrimes1989 I'll come play when the dust settles. Promise. How's vinolove doing? If you talk to her please let her know I've been thinking of her and hope her vacation is the best right now.
aggiebug I asked the other day if anyone had had theirs out. My H had probably been mentioned because he's the one that made me go to the doctor. Apparently I am negative amounts of fun when my stomach hurts.
ClassyMrsA is Lilah making up for her interrupted nap by taking a nice afternoon one for you?

sophiegrace He did not get his out. He had a couple instances of really bad pain a few years ago, like ambulance to the ER pain. They thought it might be kidney stones but that wasn't confirmed. And it just went away on it's own. But then a couple years ago during his normal routine bloodwork, some protein came back high and they had him go for an US and they said he has gallstones so he went for a consultation. The guy said you can get it taken out preemptively and it would be a routine, outpaitent surgery. Or you can wait and possibly need emergency removal. H just wasn't willing to completely change his diet over it so he is waiting it out.
Fun Fact: I majored in history. But world history.
If you are from N of the MD line you are a Yankee. If your origins are below you are a genteel southerner like me. Although MH has told me my Florida birth may not count because FL ain't all that southern, as it has been invaded by retired Yankees.
MH claims we will never live N of the line. His family is much southern. I will share a family story involving Pres Jackson on FB in a bit.
But I'm not sure I follow the rest of the convo. Are you looking for a historical line near AL/MS?

Yes, most of us didn't realize the mason dixon was so far north and we're trying to think of another border or line in that area.
I feel way too overwhelmed right now. Between the four forums (TCF, APTM, POW, and GBCN since I joined there for Working Parents), and two new FB groups of TCF refugees, I'm being swallowed alive.
I have a trial starting June 8th (two weeks from Thursday) and I am letting Internet crap distract me from preparing. I love you and if anyone needs to get ahold of me send a batsignal through PM.
We don't know what we're talking about starbuck27 . But thank you showing up here!
All I know is that up here in the PNW we don't have lines. We're just a bunch of free loving hippies.
I want to visit seattle SO BAD. My H and I keep saying we have to plan a trip. And now we have kids so who knows when we will but it's at the very top of my bucket list for here in the US.
Well hit me up if you guys ever do come out here!
Just make sure you come in the summertime. It's so pretty here in the summer and you'll never want to leave and then we can hang out and spend our days hanging out all the breweries together!
sophiegrace during both pregnancies, my doc suspected gallbladder problems. I had ultrasounds, which were incredibly painful bc pregnant belly pushing everything and it was already tender there. Anyway, it came back negative, but the plan was to take it out while I was still pregnant if it was positive. My OB was like NBD. Made it sound like an easy procedure.
My dad has had his GB out too and it was nbd for him. Tthough I can't remember the specifics. He des not follow a special diet now.

Thank you! I figured in the big sense of things it's NBD, just the first few days of dealing with a chunky baby who wants to be held 24/7 might be a bit rough. It'll work out in the end whatever happens. I know fatty meals can cause problems afterwards because you no longer have the bile produced by the gallbladder to help break it down, but ehhh.

sophiegrace Oh No! I'm so sorry. I hope it's an ulcer. That's weird to say, but it's true. Also...no. 30 min nap again!!! Lillian woke her up. Of course. And now she's crawling around like she got all the sleep in the world. I'm crossing my fingers that she falls asleep going to get dh and finally takes a good nap. That should set us up for 7pm bedtime.
Um...no kleigh. I like marshmallows alone, but a smore they need to be toasted and very slightly burnt in spots. It melts the chocolate and has a yummy creme brulee flavor. Also, I've always been told not to use butter to grease because of the water content so it might make them soggy? I'd probably put canola (or vegetable) oil on a paper towel and grease that way. I also usually flour my tins for cake.
dashook We have Waffle House and IHOP here. But I knew where the line was. I love history stuff. Good luck with your trial! We'll be somewhere when you're ready to jump back in!

Dude you have FAULT LINES. I will take my ambiguous historical lines
Although I do love the PNW
Oh those pesky things? I forgot all about them, actually! Our last major earthquake was in like 2001 or 2002.
But also we have Mt. Rainier, which is one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world. So we're just living life on the edge of natural disaster out here.
Well this is awkward. I thought it was down near Louisiana. Isn't there some sort of line down there? Florida Georgia line? Or wait that's a band. Something to do with the Louisiana purchase ?
I feel like you are talking about the Mississippi River
