TTMA overnight sleep in the rock n plays. I'm paranoid but feel like they'd sleep much longer in them. We did it the second half of last night and they slept much better. Ugh
We did it for the first 6-7 weeks. But you do what you need to do to survive those newborn days. I tried not to worry about it too much as long as she wasn't in it all day too.

Honestly not a fan since they aren't meant to be long term sleeping options. But I never had a reflux/colicky baby. I used a bassinet. Plus it always seems like the kids have a harder time transitioning to a flat surface - crib, pack-n-play, bassinet, etc.

Glad you're seeing a little improvement. My understanding is that the incline is enough for them to go chin to chest and close their airway.
Yep swaddles with white noise. That's my fear exactly, the incline...
I know they say it's not a replacement for safe sleep, but when I did get desperate and co sleep or put him in the swing, I used our Snuza monitor and really liked that. If all else fails
ETA is let you borrow mine, but I lent it to someone over a year ago and can't remember who. I'll try to see if I can figure it out.

I agree with everyone so far. You do what you have to do to survive at this point, but with the potential risks about safe sleep plus the risk that it'll be hard to get them to ever sleep flat again, I wouldn't use the PnP for night time sleep unless I was really desperate.
I would use it for naps in a heartbeat though. Bub took all his naps in a swing or bouncer, and still slept in the crib swaddled every night. People warned us not to let him nap in the swing or he'd be dependent on the motion, but it was never a problem. Maybe I have a unicorn baby, but I think it's ok to differentiate between daytime naps and nighttime sleep and have a different routine for the two.
lindsay I tried to use the RNP but he didn't sleep any better in it. Swaddles didn't make much difference either so I just went straight to flat in the crib without a swaddle- less habits to break. But if he had sttn in the rnp- I would have done it and worried about breaking the habit later.

mominthemaking14 I'll try to remember that weekend but I'll be 465132 weeks pregnant then. Yikes!
lindsay pretty much what others have said about the RnP. I know my first bmb had several who used it for night time sleep, and they ended up using it for months because they had so much trouble transitioning to the crib.

lindsay I'm in camp do what you gotta do, esp with 2. But yeah the rnp/swing transition is shitty so I guess you gotta decide if you want to sleep now or deal with transition and possible cio later. Idk but I'm sorry and sending you and the babies sleepy dust.
I'm so over being at work. I don't have anything to do. But if I leave now, that's just extra time I have to entertain the kid. I think I'm gonna pick him up and go out to eat just to kill time...

mominthemaking14 does A say a prayer at meal time at school? N has been saying a prayer and I know she learned it there. I'm not offended by it just surprised they would do a prayer.

We taught A a prayer for meals that she says on her own we taught her that. You sure the teacher taught her and not a kid that's strange ...

Posting something in PB about dc
It's a pretty involved prayer I can't imagine she learned it from a kid there.
