Full on baby-prep mode and finishing up report cards (boo!). My friend's daughter is turning 3 so they're having a BBQ on Sunday so we'll go over there for the afternoon.

Baby sprinkle with my inlaws tomorrow, have brunch with them and travel home Sunday, nothing planned for Monday. Probably some baby prep, but nothing really exciting planned.
Gift returns and registry completions. Brunch with friends Sunday, one had a baby two months ago. Dim sum and board games with a friend couple on Monday. Otherwise getting projects done around the house.
I am on call this weekend (pretty sure my supervisors are in full on denial of my very pregnant status). Hopefully, knock on all the wood, it is quiet. We plan to do operation get the house and all the to do list things done this weekend!
Pretty normal weekend here - gymnastics, playgrounds, swimming etc. We're going to our friends' house tomorrow evening to celebrate their son's first birthday.
I think we'll try to do something else fun this weekend - maybe the beach, or DD has been lobbying to go to an arcade, so maybe Dave & Buster's.
I'm feeling like most of the baby stuff is finally done!
I'm hoping to get a lot done on our to do list! Plus some fun things with DD.
H really needs to work on opening our pool! But the weather hasn't really cooperated.
I think we're going to take DD to the Children's Museum today. And maybe grab lunch at a festival downtown while we are out that way (if the weather cooperates).
cateyes, my H is on call like 5 times the week of my due date. So if baby comes then, they're going to be scrambling to not only find someone to cover his regular shift but also his call 🙄
We don't have much planned this weekend. This is our last weekend together as a family of 4 so I plan on just relaxing and taking it easy. DH works next weekend so even if I go over- next weekend won't be a weekend that we are all together. I fully plan on getting a pedicure and escaping a couple times this weekend.

Hope you don't get called in this weekend!
I just would think people would want to plan ahead for these types of situations instead of scrambling. Maybe it's just my super type A personality! Like, find coverage (the supervisors not your H) so you aren't running around crazy in an emergency!

Well I was going to make lactation cookie dough today to keep in the freezer but apparently we have no baking soda. DH decided to baking soda the carpet a few weeks ago because he thought it smelled. I'm betting he used it all and never put it on the shopping list *eye roll*

I need to do this! I totally forgot about this prep I wanted to do
We were thinking of doing a staycation OB said we would be fine traveling about an hour away. But she nixed the swimming in a pool. So that really limited my activities. So we decided to stay home and make gumbo and catch up on some movies and tv series. I'm also completing grading for the semester. I'm hoping baby girl will come soon. She has dropped and the pelvic pressure and constant peeing is torture.
It's not a long weekend here, and my recital is tomorrow so I've been busy getting ready for that. Because I host on my yard, I make a lot of extra work for myself. I had extra trouble sleeping last night in part because I overdid things physically during the day, and I did the same thing today so hopefully tonight isn't too rough. I will feel so good at 5:00 tomorrow when everything is wrapped up and the only thing on my schedule is getting ready for baby!

What is lactation cookie dough? I feel like I want some right now.

I am going to make the dough and freeze it so I can just bake the cookies once baby is here. Apparently they help with your milk supply. There were many recipes suggested in a thread on Pregnancy (I think?) awhile ago but this one looked the best to me: www.howsweeteats.com/2015/02/lactation-cookies/

We aren't doing much this weekend. DH took DD to a classmate's birthday party so I'm just snuggling with baby and relaxing for a bit. I feel bad that I don't get to snuggle this baby as much as I did for DD. So far, he's more laid back than she was at this age. And DD has a gross snotty cold so I'm trying to keep germs at bay. Hopefully the sun will peak out a bit and we can get some fresh air.

I've made these for friends and am making some to freeze today. Brewer's yeat, coconut oil, flaxseed, and oats are all supposed to help with milk supply.
Wait ttcbabyj why can't you swim in a pool?! And I feel you on the pelvic pressure, I may as well live in the bathroom at this point...
My OB said she was uncomfortable with me putting my bottom in the pool since I am 2cm dilated and almost completely effaced. I thought I would have been fine, but she disagreed because of a possible risk of infection. 🤷🏽♀️

We've had a busy weekend so far (not a long weekend here) took baby girl to meet her great grandma and to the local farmers market. Now to snuggle and enjoy the last day of H at home before he heads back to work

I find this super strange. Many women get no cervical checks at all and swim all the time. It's not a warning i have ever heard. We go to the y twice a week to swim and my midwife encourages it. It's so strange how different providers have such different ideas.

I thought it was kind of strange. I thought what if I didn't get cervix checks. But my OB is super laid back and she hasn't really restricted me from doing much this pregnancy and she was really adamant about this pool thing. Maybe there is a story behind it.

We got a lot of stuff done. Actually DH got stuff done. Not much left out on our list.
Ankle is feeling a lot better!!! Still have to baby it as to avoid reinjuring but I'm feeling better about the wed c-section
Also random but not sure if anyone remembers my shoe drama, that I sold my tieks through a BST site and the buyer claimed the shoes had fallen out of the damaged box before they arrived? Turns out I got scammed and she scammed a bunch of other people too. I feel dumb that I refunded her so easily and trusted she was telling the truth. If I had filed a dispute with PayPal I would have gotten my money back but hopefully the other victims will get reimbursed. I'm either really dumb or really unlucky!
