Thanks ladies. Oxygen helped. He is getting low and having decels again but midwife is very optimistic that changing positions and monitoring will be okay.

I'm not progressing very quickly. May need pitocin to get things ramped up. Ugh this is so so different than with C. I'm worried and it just seems like everything is going wrong and I'm staring in the eyes of a c section. I do not want that at all. I can do this. His decels are scaring me so much. Because he dips whenever I contract. He needs to go into canal more but it's taking forever.
Send me some positive vibes, good experiences, funny something or other. I am struggling.
I'm sorry this is tough. Dd had decels with every contraction and it was really scary. Keeptryig to relax, sleep if you can, and trust your medical team.

How is it going? Just catching up. I hope you have had or are having a baby right now. If you need a c-section try not to stress about it to much you have to what's safe and right for your baby and yourself. Many mom's here myself included have had them it will be okay either way.

I just feel like with all I've already been through, I just want to push him out and be done. The recovery from a csection is something fierce I'd love to not experience. Obviously if they say we have to, I'll oblige willingly but right now they haven't said those words.
Update: on oxygen again. It's 3:51 am. I'm tired but keeping small naps in between the every 15 minute rotations.
A positive is that my epidural was way too strong and my entire lower half was extra floppy. I didn't like it at all. The anesthesiologist came back and adjusted it and now I can move my feet and hips. It's like literally the best. I can't feel contractions at all but have movement.
I didn't get an epidural with C, so this was new to me and I'm thankful I went this route. I do wish I could walk around though because this is taking forever. I keep telling myself I'd be bedridden anyways with the baby having the issues

Did they end up taking her by c section? I can't remember your birth with either kiddo for some reason.

Yes. I progressed to a 6, but they weren't sure how she would tolerate active labor or pushing. It had also been 30+ hours since my water broke. I was scared for her and ready to have her in my arms. I was always ok with it because I felt like it was necessary and I did what was best for her.
I planned to vbac with ds, but he was also a csection at 41 + 4 and he's still a little stinker. I have more negative feelings about that one because of all the amazing, fast, second labor stories, and because it felt more like my body just couldn't do it, and it was my last shot at a vaginal birth.
Praying for you this morning that you'll have that boy safely in your arms soon and you'll have peace and rest.
Just think, you're definitely having a baby today.
Hang in there! DS's heart rate dropped with each contraction too but I was able have a vaginal birth. The nurse was panicking but my OB wasn't because he was rebounding pretty good. Once I got to 10, they wanted me to push instead of laboring down. Good luck! You can do it!
Hang in there @cloedoll15. Decals are scary. But like others said you are where you need to be! Clara had decals and I was able to have a vaginal birth. I hope he safety in your arms soon!
