So meds came in on Wednesday! Yesterday we had our med teach which went as expected. We've done IUI cycles with injectables so nothing was really new (we've done SubQ, IM, & PIO shots). The only difference is my trigger shot isn't in the upper butt like we've done before. Instead it's in the arm which kind of freaks me out but obviously I'll get over.
WE ARE OFFICIALLY STIMMING Today I started dexamethasone and Lupron. My AM shot is 6:30ish AM which is going to be a pain on the weekends but it's what works best for me during the week. I am very excited we've finally started. The whole month of May I felt like we were just waiting. It's nice to feel like we're actually moving forward now!

TTC since Dec 2011 DX: PCOS + Severe Abdominal Scar Tissue Past Treatments: 8 rounds of Clomid, 5 rounds of Femara - 3 with Follitsim and 2 with IUI. Current Plan: IVF June 2017
I was borderline today, with 4 measuring big enough to trigger, so my RE and nurse decided to have me stim one more day to let some of the 14 mm ones catch up. My biggest follicle is 19 though, so it's pretty certain that I'll trigger tomorrow!

@eliida, I'm so scared that I'm going to miscarry again. I hope increasing the dose helps quickly enough that I don't. The 2 CP's I had, the initial blood work was positive and then it didn't double.

@eliida, sadly no. I just have stuff to get done around the house (cleaning and boring stuff like that) and my allergies are crazy so I'm kind of miserable. It's been a really bad week for allergies where I live- everyone is miserable. Stupid trees.

@eliida, aww poor doggie. That made me giggle a little though, dog sneezes are funny.
I feel like I'm walking on eggshells. Like if I cough too hard I'm going to knock that embryo right out of there or something. I know it doesn't work that way but it just feels so... precarious.

@eliida, awww! That's adorable. My dog is so old she's very oblivious to everything around her anymore. she seems content, tail wagging and all, just in her own little world. She's 14.
That's a good idea. I'm going to try to convince hubby the housework will keep!
mommybumblebee, I agree with @eliida, find something fun to do! Maybe go see a movie, it will get you out of the house, but the air conditioning should help with the allergies! The chores will keep til later, right now you need to take care of yourself.

bonzo2012, I hope you get to trigger today! @eliida, how did monitoring go? Hope it went well. nikiswimr, Glad your e2 is rising. mommybumblebee, My TSH level doubled last time I was pregnant. They doubled my synthroid dose. It dropped but then dropped too much so I'd ask them to keep a close eye on it. I hope you're feeling better!

bananas22- when would you recommend I be rechecked? I'm having blood drawn on Monday and again on Wednesday (assuming Monday's is on track...) or is that too soon? I upped my dose of synthroid on Friday.

They had me wait weeks in between blood draws so I don't think it's a day to day thing. I think they had me wait about 4 weeks and I feel like that was too long.

bananas22 that's amazing! I hope you're feeling ok!
mommybumblebee (hugs) I've been there. I agree with everyone, anything to distract yourself. As for rechecking the TSH the traditional teaching is you wait 6 weeks to recheck after a change in medication dose. TSH is basically your body's response to how much thyroid hormone it sees and it takes a while to adjust the set point.
I get it, but checking earlier usually doesn't give you correct information. Synthroid/levothyroxine has a one week half life so it takes 6 weeks to achieve steady state. Some doctors won't recheck for 8 weeks because they feel that is more accurate. Too much thryroid hormone is bad so you wouldn't want to make a change based on results drawn too early.
mommybumblebee, I don't have any experience with TSH levels, but I hope you can get it figured out. I know it seems like a long time from what everyone is saying, but you don't want to make a decision based on partial information. Good luck getting it all sorted out!
AFM, I'm triggering tonight! Lupron + Pregnyl, so both SubQ and IM shots tonight. I'm so excited that we're ready!
