It's new windows day. I'm trapped in my house all day with the furniture all out of place. Wah. They're sending 2 crews to try and get a 2-day job done in one day. I'm imagining chaos and lots of wet footprints. I hope it's not as bad as I think.
I guess I'll just talk to myself here. H called and they said they'll be here between 9 and 10:00. That is much different from being here between 7:30-8:00. Not cool.

That's so rude. I mean I know you're off work, but what if you weren't? I hate it when companies expect you to put stuff on hold for them. Um no, I'm paying you. You come when you were scheduled. Hopefully when they arrive everything goes smoothly!

The kids are all playing nicely in the basement (thank you kids). We played a peppa pig board game this morning and I will do some sort of matching letters activity with them this afternoon. I live one crazy wild life, lol.
I do have Zumba tonight, which I'm looking forward to.
Hey hey. I'm getting a massage today! Cannot wait!
Why is it that babies spit up and poop right after you've put them in a clean diaper and cute new onesie? sstwinklinglites the ones you made! I'm hoping for a photo opp today.

The window guys are here now. They're super polite and they're being nice to my dog even though she's an asshole, and I can't even be mad. The guy that appears to be the boss has asked very nicely that I not go into labor today.

So our water heater has a small leak. Used our home warranty, which I totally forgot about, it is going to end up being $225 for a new one. Does this sound reasonable? I know nothing of this stuff esp working with the warranty company.

That doesn't seem unreasonable. But our warranty is pretty much $100 for any job. Are they replacing the water heater, or just fixing it?

They are replacing it. Apparently it was $75 for the service call and then the warranty company didn't cover everything, it's $180 in extras or something.

vlagroupie - Is it one of those large water heaters? I would check what the cost is for a new one if you buy it outright. Although $225 for parts and labor sounds good.
I know the newer ones that are just like a small box are much more money.
Sold my grandma's car last night, which means she's officially purchased mine and we can go van shopping! Might go to Louisville tonight to see one that's priced well.

Ooh this is exciting! Then more babies!
Cannot wait for more babies! Every month I have to convince myself to keep waiting for fall because a summer baby makes the most sense for us.
I really want to see how the windows look from the outside in the back because they were so ugly before. But I'm not supposed to open the patio door for a few hours until the caulk dries. And walking all the way around the house is too much.
Plus I'm scared I'll see our crazy neighbors and have to talk to them. The window crew said he came over and picked through their garbage and took all of our old windows. Like ALL of them. Hmmm...

Huh? The neighbor took your old windows? Weird.
Yeah. The window guys thought it was really weird. They said he came back several times and took pretty much everything. Who knows what he's planning to do with them.
