We were in an accident and need to replace the Car seats. The other driver was at fault and his insurance is paying so the cost won't matter. The question is when do you move them out of the 5 point harness. DD is almost 5 and is big for her age so I think she might be ready. I am clueless about what to get her though. We have always used graco, but there are so many options.
Also is there anyplace to recycle the old ones? I looked online and didn't find anything local. I am a big environmentalist and don't want them in a landfill.

Glad everyone is ok. DS1 recently turned 5 and is still in a 5 point harness. He's tiny for his age and doesn't meet the height/weight requirements to change his to the high back just yet. Hopefully by next year. LOL. I think the recommendation is to keep them in the 5 point until they outgrow the height/weight limits.
I would go into one of the stores with a good selection to see what's comfy and has good height/weight limits that she won't outgrow.
