Mild breathing discomfort at night

My sister is suffering from a mild breathing discomfort. She is ten years old. The doctor told it would be fine after some period of time. But now at night, it has become very difficult for her to breathe. She loses her sleep most of the days. Then we took her to the hospital again, this time the doctor told to start using CPAP machine.

I know a lot of people using CPAP but how much effective is it for a ten-year-old kid?

CPAP doesn't cause any harm. It just gives small pressure to the air so that the human effort to inhale air is reduced. Nothing to worry about it. nancycarter,
