I woke up yesterday with a huge swollen lymph node on my neck. It hurts and I have had a pain in my side which I thought was unrelated. But I've had Epstein Barr Virus before and I know you can have a swollen spleen with that. It may be a coincidence but I'm lying low today with a heating pad on my side. Hopefully a few days of rest will do the trick. Postponing grocery shopping and we'll have to deal.
Hello ladies. Weekend was pretty good, nothing thrilling happened.
It's just above freezing and it's raining. Sounds crazy but I am glad it's raining we have a sheet of ice on our driveway and sidewalk and I am hoping it will help melt it off. I asked Him to get ice melt and he said it wouldn't do much. Well not when it's already ice and the temps are in the single digits but when it gets above freezing it can help! Ahh well his his truck that slides down the ice not mine which is parked in the garage
aggiebug is ice melt like the salt? A sprinkle of salt always helps us on icy days no matter the temp. The salt lowers the freezing point so it doesn't have to be above freezing to work.
It's a good day at work today. I'm going to leave a tiny bit early if I can swing it, so I can talk to daycare about some things. Bonus to us with the boy's birthdays our daycare is 10 bucks cheaper every week!
Then it's my Friday so I'm excited for my weekend, of which I won't have to work from home on Tuesdays now, so I get an actual day off!!
dreemkin hope you feel better soon. Spleen pain is no joke!

Yeah it's salt. It was so thick that it would take so much it wasn't worth it was kind of his reasoning. I don't know. I know it's generally better at preventing ice formation, not they it didn't work to actually melt the ice but it's not as effective
Trying to make it to yoga for the first time in ages tonight. The baby is in a big separation anxiety phase which is so draining, if developmentally appropriate.
