Local farmstead today wahoo. Perfect weather for it, of course everyone else thought so too 😄. C made his first little friend all on his own today 😍. It was the cutest thing ever. He found a little boy his age and just latched on. They walked around holding hands, gave hugs it was so sweet. I did tell C to turn around and the way he was trying to convince his friend to turn around was by taking his paci 🤣, the boy wasn't so sure about that but he was going to follow his pacifier. So funny.
Resting now, have chicken marinading for grilling tonight. Hoping for a relaxing night. Maybe introduce Toy Story to the kiddos.
Went to lunch with parentals and then we went to a dock sale that Home Run Inn was having near my house for cheap cases of their frozen pizzas. They are supposedly imperfect ones but they are always great! We had to wait in line for about half an hour. About middle of the line (because we had just had lunch) I totally had to pee and was getting a little nervous. It is outside at an industrial warehouse area so not even close to stores or anything. Luckily they had a porta potty. It was the most beautiful sight!! Haha
Supposedly we are getting inches of snow tomorrow and I'm just not havin' it. Especially because I just put away all winter wear.
Work is super quiet these part few days, but busy for me. Lots of cleanup! I'm going to try and get out of here early though for a BBQ at my friend's house.
DH is taking the boys fishing this morning, well V will be fishing and DH will probably be trying to keep A out of the water.
Went to the gym this morning and got out just as it started raining which turned into snow 😲 So we are just staying in today; having a relaxation day. We also had a great dvc talk and planned our first trip "home" ( to our home resort - the Polynesian) for next year! I can't wait to book it soon!!
^^tried three times to post this & an update yesterday but never had enough cell service to get it through.
We have internet today though! Yay! Birthday party this morning at a bounce house place. They didn’t have electricity but they inflated the bounce houses with generators.
Tried two different routes to go see how our old house fared but the roads were still blocked with trees.
Made it to the civic center to drop off cleaning supplies, garbage bags, water, diapers. They’ve classified the tornado as F3.
My nephew’s first gymnastics recital is tonight! I’m excited for him!
lilyelayne yup! Like a stir fry. I got the recipe from the Trisha Yearwood food network show but modified it with more fresh ingredients and made a bit healthier. And oh nos, to loss of power!
