Monday is grocery shopping day. It was also rainy all day so I let the girls play in the basement all afternoon.
In between bedding laundry, I was down there on my computer researching our next disney trip. I was able to book our trip for next year this morning. It will be our 1st trip at a deluxe resort on points from our DVC membership!!! Staying at our home resort- the Polynesian for 6 days/5 nights. We are thinking of doing magic kingdom and maybe another park but otherwise relaxing! So different from our usual WDW vacations. We have a lot of things to decide before I can make any other plans. Which is okay because I have a lot of time for dining, fastpass +, etc. Also, we are going to drive *GULP*...
Hiya. I am home, kids were happy to see me and are also feeling fine. Me? Im tired and my cold is blah but surprise surprise 😄. Hamilton on Friday!!! I am so excited and listening as much as I can this week 😄
Today we are at a splash pad we haven't been to. It's actually the one in our town and the earliest one around to open. It's nice but there aren't any play structures (buckets that fill and tip, etc) like the one we usually go to. The girls are having a blast regardless. Meeting my parents and sis for lunch!
Irrigation day so I'm home. My mom and sister reaaaaalllllyy wanted to take the boys to build a bear tonight. I have received text message reminders about it for the past three days. Plus a bunch of invitational text messages last week when they planned it. Not sure what the excitement is, but that's our plan tonight.

G’s last swim lesson was tonight. He did awesome!! He’ll be swimming without any floatation device at all as soon as he’s willing to try.
My allergies are crazy bad. My face is itchy & I’m all congested. Gonna pick up some Claritin or something tomorrow. I’m on day 2 of Flonase so hopefully it kicks in soon.
Today H worked from home. It was super hot outside so he set up the pool and sprinkler and watched the girls out there as he did work. It helped me a lot as I did so much cleaning today. It was easier without the girls who like to be bad when I'm trying to concentrate on literally anything other than them. My sis, bil, and nephew are coming in this weekend. Life would be easier if I separated out my cleaning better but I leave the non-every-day things too long (I also have no self discipline to follow a schedule or anything).
I registered N for Religious Ed. It'll be one evening a week during the school year. 😭 She's getting so old. But I got the last spot in the session I wanted 🤗😎😛 I will be the one having to at least take her each week but it's me pushing for this anyway. H is not very religious and did not grow up Catholic like me so he doesn't understand why I want them to make their sacraments. Maybe at orientation it'll click.
Build a bear didn't pan out. Apparently it was a special event at the store, but the crowd was huge and the line was super disorganized and long.
Prep tonight for camping this weekend. I've got a kayak class I signed up for tomorrow morning then we'll head out after that. DH's family is going with us, should be a fun weekend.
dreemkin that sounds interesting. Is it like a first communion class?
Basically. Catholicism requires two years of preparation and study for first communion. So RE starts in 1st grade (at my church) and then will continue to 8th grade for confirmation.
kartish was it the "pay your age" day at build-a-bear? Those days are insane. Sorry you weren't able to do it. Have fun camping and kayaking!!
lilyelayne allergies have been bad over here too. Even N has had this eye thing happening this summer. Her eye lid gets red, swollen, and itchy (intermittently) and we give her children's zyrtec and it goes away. It started right before our disney trip and made me worried we would end up in urgent care there. But we've been able to manage it. One day, it is noticeable in our pictures though poor thing. I usually take zyrtec but my father swears by allegra so I'm going to try that to see if it works better for me. My eyes have also been ichy, and leaky at night.
dreemkin my mom here in La & aunt in Colorado say Xyzal is a life changer re: allergies
Now I have DH’s cold on top of the allergies. The Claritin means I’m no longer itchy and sneezy, yay, but I’m congested and coughing. Pity party of one. Albuterol is good stuff, though!
