Anyone watch The Mandolorian? H and I watched it and now we've started The Good Place. It's been a little hard for me to get into it but H likes it.
Today H is back at work and us girls are all home for one more day. I'm glad because A and I need it to rest with our colds (as mine came back worse the last few days). I gave them both trims today 💇♀️ but Gatsby desperately needs a hair cut. Tonight is chicken (marinated in pickle juice, lightly breaded with almond flour, baked, and a slice of cheese) sandwiches for dinner. A will have an egg sandwich.

We watched the first episode of Mandalorian then I told DH he could watch it without me. I’m not big into Star Wars so I guess it didn’t catch me.
J had his speech referral, and because he has so many signs he is actually advanced for his age 😂🤷🏻♀️ she said if he still doesn’t have more than 3 spoken words or if he still isn’t walking on his own after 4-6 more months, call for another eval.
We’re trying to get back into the normal swing of things after all the holidays & our house full of guests over the weekend. G’s school resumed yesterday.
J is cutting two canines and his last 1yo molar, so he doesn’t want to eat & just wants to nurse alllllll the time.
Our dog finally got a probable diagnosis after our vet sent her file to his buddy who is an orthopedic vet in Texas. So she’s on steroids & kennel rest for 4-6 weeks, and we started laser therapy yesterday.
A boring week of routine here and I am so thankful. I do have a PT appointment tomorrow, hopefully it helps. I have significant lower back and hip pain with this pregnancy. I have had some with the other two/ with a newborn, but this is a lot worse so I am hoping to get some management techniques. Ahh pregnancy it really does a number on your body.
lilyelayne there were a few episodes I couldn't get into but the rest was good I thought...not as good as people have been raving about IMHO. Baby Yoda is in fact adorable though. I'm glad that J's appointment was positive. Bless your heart for breast feeding! I hope your pup will be okay!!
aggiebug I'm sorry to hear about your pain but hopefully the PT will help! You're having a rough time ((hugs)).
Back to normal here today. Still having the daily dinner "fights" with A. If I make one thing she says she wants the opposite. If I make that the next day, she says she wants the other. It is weird and I'm annoyed. Plus, it hurts my feelings that she never wants to eat what I make. Maybe it's a stage at her age, but I don't remember N acting this way... ETA: I know I bring this up a lot. Just screaming into the void and all that.

Could it be symphysis pubis dysfunction? A few people I watch on YouTube have dealt with this recently and they say their doctors down-played it when they told them about their struggles and that the pain is excruciating. If it is I've heard a chiropractor can help lessen the pain but it seems like you're on the right track with PT. GL!

No this is hip not pelvic symphasis thankfully. I had it with both pregnancies and those first months after they were born. This is just more often and more problematic.
dreemkin V asked specifically for what we had for dinner last night and then said it was yucky and refused to eat it. So it might just be an age thing. Do you ever have her help you cook? Things improve a bit when V or A help me prepare dinner.
Work is super stressful right now, and I'm feeling underwater about some of my new responsibilities. But I had a really good discussion with my boss yesterday, and I have a day off tomorrow, with DH actually. And we get to go see my friends baby girl and take her family dinner tomorrow, so I'm looking forward to that.
dreemkin knowing it's a phase doesn't mean it isn't frustrating. Sorry she is driving you crazy I hope it passes soon and try not to feel bad about it it's not your cooking it's 100% her.
kartish I'm sorry work is stressful! I hope your day off was rejuvenating! aggiebug how was PT? lilyelayne how is your schnoodle?!
My ear is bothering me from congestion so I'm keeping fingers crossed it doesn't turn into an infection. We have friends visiting this weekend. unfortunately we are getting freezing rain so we might be stuck inside. But we can still have fun!

dreemkin not great. She went 2 days without eating and she got really bad off. We were shocked she wasn’t eating since she’s on prednisone. The vet gave her an appetite stimulant, and thankfully that did the trick. She’s eaten a little more each day. At first even with the appetite stimulant she could only be hand fed by J, which of course delighted him. Today she’s been eating out of a bowl.

We had a great weekend with our friends. My ear is holding out so fx it doesn't turn. Yesterday we went bowling! And then since the weather wasn't great we ordered pizza and salad for dinner and stayed in and played games. They brought chameleon (which isn't my style game but the girls had fun), five crowns, and ticket to ride. It was a good time! I'm trying to rest today since us adults were up late playing games and enjoying some drinks.
Today I accidentally ended up working from home, when my hop on VDI while DH was shoveling the driveway turned into my boss calling me three hours later making sure I was okay. But I got some good work done, which was needed. I didn't however do what I had planned on today, so that will be tomorrow.
I also tried to make steak dinner with French onion soup, roasted potatoes and salad tonight. It all turned out but the soup. And the boys ate steak and tomatoes from the salad.
