I know there was one back on the bump but with a million posters early on and the horrible format I didn't get to properly ooo and ahh! All the pet talk in the weekend plans thread makes me want to see all the furbabies!
Tell us about them. Name, age, breed, personality quirks, and whatever else.

We have 2 dogs and a cat
Bloo is an 8 year old Maltese Chihuahua. He is my hubby's dog. He's got a serious neopolian complex and can be quite feisty. He also acts more like a cat than a dog. He's currently sleeping on the top/back of the couch as I type this.
Magic, is a 6 year old Double Merle Aussie. At least that's what the sketchy old dude at the flea market said when we bought her. She more fits the profile and size of a Double Merle Border Collie. The Double Merle means she's mostly white, has medical issues(can't hold her urine properly, she's going blind, she has several allergies, and her life expectancy isn't as long as a normal dog of her breed). Double Merle's happen when certain types of a breed are bred together improperly. Anyways, she is super skittish and obsessed with tennis balls.
And both dogs together
Ellie is a 7 month old Calico Tabby mix. She is pretty much the sweetest thing to ever grace our household. Some friends of ours saw her and her brothers and sisters dropped off at the park in our old apartment complex and saw the car zoom off. So when we got her she was only about 8 weeks old. She is so amazingly tolerant of our wild 2 year old and loves her. She is very cuddly and I have no idea how we will get her out of our bed/faces when it's time to start room sharing with baby boy when he gets here.

Duluth is a blue merle border collie that DH and I got a few days after our honeymoon in 2011. He will be 4 in May. He is very active and is the best listener in the house. DH did a wonderful job training him. He spent a majority of this past summer (22weeks) in a pen since he tore his ACL and required surgery.
Beatrix is a black lab border collie mix and she has a HUGE personality. We adopted her from the local humane society in 2013. She just turned 2 this past December, and is a total sweetheart. She knows that she is cute and can get away with anything. She likes to bark at me when I eat a snack because she thinks she deserves it.
The orange twins are Tuck and Sora. I had adopted them in 2007 before I met DH. We call them the assholes since they yell at us a lot and steal food off the counter. But at least they catch vermin around the house.

Thank you lauranicole91 When I first met DH one of the cats was seriously overweight and his nickname was sticky ass cat, cause he was so fat he had issues.....
1. Mila, 4 1/2, Pomeranian. She is a spoiled princess but she is seriously the sweetest pup ever. She loves everyone and she's always so happy!
2. Carter, 6 1/2, 1/2 bengal mix. She is crazy and full of attitude but secretly super loving (on her terms only). We were told she was a boy when we got her and later found out she was a girl when certain parts were nowhere to be found .
This is our handsome boy Tux. He is a lab (mutt) mix and was 2 in September and is the family trouble maker - always pushing the limits. His mom was picked up on the side of the road and 3 weeks later he was born - We consider ourselves lucky to have him! My brother took this pic last Christmas and I love it.
This is my maltese poodle Taurie and she'll be 12 in May. Forgive the spelling - my younger brother insisted on it because she's a Taurus. I didn't have the heart to fight him on it - It's youneek. She's the brat of the household. Spoiled rotten being the only child for almost 10 years but adapting slowly. She went blind a few years ago due to cataracts but you would never know it in her own environment. She's my princess.
This is Molly. She is a 9 or 10 year old Red Heeler. I'm not 100% sure on her age because I adopted her from the local pet shelter. She loves Milk Bones, squeak toys, squirrels, armadillos, belly rubs, pettings, and vegetables. Peas and carrots are her favorite.

This is Audrey, she is a ~3 y/o Siberian Husky who we accidentally rescued on our 3-month wedding anniversary. We took her in for the night and that was, oh, 2 years ago. DH grew up with dogs but she is my first! She is a total piece of work, a needy and demanding princess (with her own throne to boot! I called dibs on the wing chair but apparently after DH brought it home while I was out she sniffed it, jumped into the seat, and that was the end of that), probably TOO smart for anyone's good (she recently demonstrated that she knows exactly how a deadbolt works) but I couldn't imagine my life without the little furball. I COULD imagine my life with less dog hair, but that is another story.

I love love love love these dogs. They are one of my favorite breeds.
This is Harley. 10 yr old mini dachshund. Very dachshund like- super particular, very protective of me- likes women better, won't poop in the rain, stubborn as hell, separation anxiety (hates his crate), BUT with all that said he is my baby and the best snuggle buddy.
This is Deja. Like Deja Vu. She is a 9 yr old mixed breed - Feist and jack Russell. She is super skinny but long legs. She can jump like a deer. Sweetest little girl but very timid and she is a dumb blonde.

Yay! I'm so happy to have a repeat of this thread so I can remind myself which of my favorite (former) Bumpies have adorable and awesome animals! They're all so cute!!! My new phone doesn't have any super good pictures of my love bugs on it so I'll return in a bit to share mine.

I am obsessed! It took me no time at all to become crazy husky lady, I was actually going to take up mushing with her this fall/winter but getting pregnant put the brakes on that. I already another husky when the time comes, but DH is team "never again". I will admit she is a LOT of work: most of our dog-owning friends can't believe how much we have to walk her just to maintain sanity in this house, and she can't be left home alone unless she is crated (destructive and has separation anxiety, though she is MUCH better than she was and willingly goes into the crate), so while DH is at work I can't leave for more than 3 hours max at a time and usually try to keep it closer to 2. So yeah, she definitely complicates my life, but I can't imagine not having her in it!
robotpcr I loooove your cats! Especially your tortoise shell/calico!! Awww.
Oh, thank you! We are obsessed with our cats. Kaylee (the tortie) has been my girl since college. She's moved all over the country with me. She was the most skittish kitten ever but now loves to cuddle with me. You can still see the crazy lurking though

Omg I love this thread! I'm going to have to do my little herd in small groups since we're on the road and i don't have great reception. I'll show off our dogs first. This is Ronan and Toby. I got Ronan, a bichon mix, about 5 years ago. I went to a client's house for a consult on a child with autism. He had been dumped in their neighborhood and had almost no fur, his skin was all raw and infected. He had plopped himself on their doorstep an hour before I got there, and they were going to bring him to the pound the next morning. He was so sweet, so he just came home with me. He's a total mama's boy and is my little shadow. Toby is a lab/maybe hound mix. We took him in from an overburdened dog rescue this summer "for a couple weeks." He was underweight, had heartworm, and was terrified of everyone, must have an abuse history. He's still scared of new people but does well with us now and is much healthier and happier

You can get a summer sled that has a seat in it for a child. This is actually pretty popular where I'm at.
This is Coal and Holly, they are 5 year old lab mixes. We got them for Christmas one year from a coworker whose dog accidentally got pregnant. H's sister has another pup from their litter. They were my first dogs, H grew up with dogs. I don't know what I would do without them now that H works nights, I would be so scared w/o them.
Side note: I had a dream last night that H and I were older and Holly and Coal has passed away and we had a new big black shaggy dog. We took him on vacation with us and then got a last minute chance to go on another trip and we just abandoned the new dog at our current vacay spot to go on the other trip. I hope I don't truly grow up to be an awful pet owner.
