There is a girl in my lil mamas group that counts her daughter's age in weeks. She's six fucking months old. Don't say 27 weeks.

Also, myself and my husband. Tyler said dinner was "fucking dewishus" last night. WORLD'S OKAYEST PARENTS.

Also, Ingrid clearly judges the Kardashians. We were watching the E red carpet last night and when Khloe (or the otherone? spelling?) came on to talk about fashion (really E? That was the best you could do) Ingrid screamed at the screen. Usually we tell her to use her inside voice, but in this instance we both just said "Preach".

One of my best friends just had an adorable baby girl. However, she keeps saying she's another month every 4 weeks. Um, no. Your child was born on the 27th. So your child is another month every 27th on the calendar. She's already 5 days ahead. By her birthday she'll be 2 weeks ahead. Just drives me batty.
4 weeks =\= a month. (Unless it's February in a non leap year)

I've been judging parents the past week for not dressing their kids for the weather. It's common around here but we've had some super cold weather for the south in the past week, and people need to exercise common sense.

I'm absolutely judging my cousin. She just got engaged less than 2 weeks ago and she is already demanding that her bridal shower be held at her parents' house so her friends can attend. A) The shower is a GIFT and definitely not something you can start making demands about, especially when you've been engaged for a hot minute. 2) If you want all of your friends there, then include them on the invitation list if you're asked for one. If a lot of them can't make it, MAYBE you'll be lucky enough for them to coordinate a separate one for you. Don't make your entire family travel 4-5 hours, to the middle of BFE, for a shower that they will be hosting, paying for, and coordinating.

Still judging the mom in my May '14 group who has had her LO FF since at least 9 months. I commented on a picture she posted on IG and she deleted it. So I unfollowed her and now I don't like or reply to any of her posts. Petty? Probably.

I was judging someone else hardcore last week and I almost started a thread like this to get it out and now I forgot. I'll be back.

I saw a thing on fb of a little 6 year old who had no one show up to his birthday party. His mom invited his 16 classmates. I judge the other parents. I know there are two sides to every story, but if my 6 year old is invited to a party he will most likely go. And if we have prior plans we will at the very least send a birthday card. IMO if they took the time to include you then you can have the either go or let the mom know you can't so her poor 6 year old has no one come to his party. People who do not RSVP in general get a huge side eye from me.

We were having breakfast at a cafe last weekend and there was a couple nearby with a baby. Poor kid spent the entire time coughing/sneezing. It was pitiful. Yet the parents took their time and ate their breakfast like he was fine. I was majorly side-eying them and walked quickly past them as we left.

I mentioned this to my H and that it was so sad. He said he understood the other parents because the mother should know who the kid is friends with and should only invite them, that way this kind of thing wouldn't happen. That made me side-eye my H! Lol

I was judging my H and V's Mom hardcore this weekend. H because he yet again chose something fun to take him away from a bball tournament for V and therefore I have to take her. V's Mom because of her choice of outfit and what she said to me when we were leaving. It was the tournament that we (our town league) hosted so the parents are supposed to help set up on Friday and then they get scheduled a time to "work". H and I were scheduled for Sat afternoon. And since H was gone it fell on me. I mentioned it to V's Mom when they were leaving with V and she thought it was odd that I had to help again. (we had to help set up on Fri too) I explained and her comment was "I would just tell them to go F themselves!" It took all of my being not to look her straight in the face and say "well we both know YOU are not going to do it so someone needs to!" It's not even my kid biologically and I was the one who had to do it. I'm not saying I don't feel like she's my own child, but it is still frustrating that her own parent's can't step up for certain aspects of her life and school activities. I'm the only one who has attended her band and choir concerts as well.

Sorry that became more of a vent

At 6 it's kind of ridiculous for kid's to already exclude other kids or not like them enough to attend their party.  How sad for that kid.

I know! That's why I hardcore judge their parents. The article ends up the kids mom complains how it was so sad for him and then a ton of police and firefighters show up and celebrated with him.

bliz1712: I'm sorry all of that was dropped on you. It sounds like V's mom has been a lost cause for a long time, but can you ask your H to step up and help out more on the weekends?  I can't imagine juggling both H & E during the tournament plus everything else.

I know it's complicated and she may not completley understand it but someday she will. You are really her mom in every way. A real mom bites her tongue when that stuff comes up and always puts her kid first.

I saw a bunch of things last week that I was going to start a judgey thread for and I can't even remember them now.

I'm judging our "friends" (I don't know how to explain the situation on here so I would say the H is our friend and the wife can't stand us lol) they have 2 boys that they can barely manage. They end up dumping the kids on everyone else. Well they are pregnant with number 3, another boy. I know the H didn't even want a third child and the wife wants to keep trying for a girl. Now the husband is saying he is going to sneak off and have a vasectomy while the wife is in the hospital having #3.

ETA: The husband is planning to keep the vasectomy a secret from his wife because she will say no and he's afraid of her.  I'm also judging her for not being able to tell her husband is clearly overwhelmed with the kids they already have and insisting they have more.

haha blinged out cowboy boots, black leggings, a black top and a loose white cardigan.  Very tight is the best description.  Just not something I would wear to a kids sporting event. 

Thanks guys, I pretty sure she appreciates me or will for sure when she is older.  I just know at this age is when she's going to be the meanest to me when I'm setting/enforcing rules so it will be hard sometimes.  And of course it makes it harder and I get a little jealous when her Mom gets to always be the "fun" parent and never hold any of that on her shoulders.  

summergirl1211, Thank god for my parents.  They are always so helpful and whenever H isn't at the tournaments they are there to help by coming with or just taking them for the day.  A whole day at a tournament is definitely not the easiest or most fun with a 2.5 yr old and a 10 month old.  Eliza thankfully will sleep in the Ergo so I still get 2 naps out of her, but they aren't very long.

Now I am judging all the moms in M14 that buy YoBaby. There is nothing special about it. Just buy regular plain yogurt. It's probably even better for them, without added sugar and flavors.

I'm judging the mom I saw in the mall the other week. She was at one of those ear piercing kiosks with her baby who was probably about a year old. Poor little girl was screaming in fear and mom just held her down and got her ears pierced. I know this is a cultural thing and yadda yadda yadda, but I'm sorry, it is purely cosmetic and something that could be a great mother-daughter bonding experience in 3 or 4 years. Why subject your daughter to pain and fear, not to mention yourself to the pain in the ass of the maintenance of those studs, just so...what? Your toddler can have earrings that match her outfit?

ETA: Not to mention, those ear piercing kiosks are unsanitary and piercing guns are a terrible way to get a piercing.

I'm sure it is! Maybe I shoudn't be judging. It's just flavored yogurt in teeny cups. I don't get it.

My kid eats a lot of yogurt though. Like a ton. Maybe that's why I think it's so silly.

Now that the kids are older we do more greek yogurt but aubrey loves the little yogurt cups best. I buy the trader joes brand now which are cheaper.

I read an article that people are starting to take their daughters to tattoo and piercing shops more and more. 1. They are trained to pierce 2. They have an actual license to pierce. It isn't a teen wih a piercing gun. One of my bff's baby daddy owns a very reputable tattoo shop and his brother does most of the piercings. I asked him and his "rule" is 3rd grade and up. He refuses to pierce babies because he personally doesn't believe in it. When E is old enough and asks for her ears to be done he will do it. Yes my baby girl will go to a tattoo shop and get it done by a guy covered in tattoos.

Oh I almost forgot - I have been judging some friends of mine since they had their first baby, and the just had baby #2 and so the judgment is fresh in my mind LOL.

A couple-freind of ours had their first baby about 2 months after we had our first. The mom and dad are both night owls and don't have to be at work early (dad is a therapist and sets his own hours, mom owns a plastics business, so also sets her hours) They have always stayed up till 12 or 1 or later every night, and woken up around 9 (or later on weekends). Well, once they had their daughter, they didn't want to change their lifestyle and actually start waking up early, so they keep their daughter up till the midnight or later so that she'll sleep till 9 or 10. We have mutual friends with kids the same age and they've floated the idea of doing a sitting round robin kind of deal so that we can have nights out/sleeping in without paying a sitter...but we and all our mutual friends have refused because aint no way in hell any of us are going to stay up with their baby till 12 or 1 and then have to wake up with our noramlly-sleeping children at 6 or 7.

When I think of what a horrible transition it's going to be for those poor girls when they start school and have to change their sleeping habits it makes me stabby.

jodielyn10: Wow. And what about the parents? Are they going to have to change their sleeping habits too in order to get the girls to school? Having babies is a life-changing, rock your world event anyway. Why not make the inevitable adjustment right away? That just seems so selfish to me.
