My monster is officially 2 and its killing me a little. Where the hell have 2 years gone? Any ways no real post to this other than I finally know how TheEleventhHour felt a few days ago.
Seriously time just flies. I could not believe it. Your DD looked so sweet in her party clothes
Thanks she did really good I don't think she cried once the whole party. She loves hanging out with her older cousins. I also sent all my cousins home with giant cookies I know their mothers loved ha!
Happy birthday to your DD. I have been loving the 2s (DS is 2 1/2). Way better than the 1s. Those were just god awful!
See I've had a lot of fun with all the stages. For us each one had had its perks so its super sad to see them go.
I hated the ones, DS had undiagnosed reflux. They claimed he out grew it at 6 months when he stopped spitting up and took him off meds. It was ok for a few months, then a chronic cough developed and he was up four to six times a night coughing and screaming. They tried to treat the cough with inhalers and nebulizers and each medicine would get the cough to go away for a few days, but it would always come back. Each medicine would change his behaviors. He would be hyperactive, like crazy. He was also saying zero words at 18 months so we had early intervention come and they evaluated him and picked him up. They were seriously concerned talking about autism and lack of attention. Then we started reflex meds again just before his second birthday and he went back to the calm and peaceful child I remembered before 6 months. His cough went away and he started sleeping way better. He started talking and now won't stop. He was dropped from early intervention last month (at 2 1/2) . I am so glad that time is behind us. It was awful.

Yea that sounds really rough. I'd probably be happy to see all that behind me as well. DD would sleep until 10 am up until last spring so figure over a year. Over the summer she really became this ball of wild child we've had so much fun with. The winter had sucked being stuck inside buts she's learned probably 25 new words since Christmas and she just has so much personality. She really is the happiest kid eve.
