Blue and black! I can't for the life of me see the white! I tried looking at it from all angles! It didn't change anything other than if someone was watching me I would look crazy! Haha
Omg WTH it changed on me! I googled and found this link which obviously shows and blue and black dress and then when I went to see the pic on buzzfeed it was blue and black.
Previously I saw white/gold. I opened your link then went back...it changed to periwinkle blue and gold for me. This is so crazy neat to me! Brains are so interesting.
I keep coming back to this...now it's back to white and gold! This explanation I found makes sense, and would explain why I saw the dress as blue/black after seeing the amazon link of the actual dress:
Our vision is heavily influenced by so-called "top-down" processing, John Borghi, a cognitive neuroscientist at Rockefeller University, told BuzzFeed News. Top-down processing "begins with the brain and flows down, filtering information through our experience and expectations to produce perceptions."
Each person brings a different set of experiences and expectations, as well as attention levels and particular eye movements.
For example, what you looked at just before you looked at the dress could influence the way your brain perceived it, Borghi added. "It could also be that you've seen dresses (or fabric) with the same texture or shape before, which could also affect your perception." This general phenomenon is called priming.
I saw two pictures of this dress one right after the other on my feed and one was white and gold and one was blue and black. I was seeing them at the same time. That makes me wonder.
GDI. yesterday I was seeing in consistently as white and gold. After looking at some of the blue/black pictures. I know see it as light blue and brown.

Ok. sarasansh I am dying over this. If I see the darkened version out of the corner of my eye, I see black and blue. As soon as I look at it I see white and gold. I am losing my mind. I agree winter must have made us all whackadoodles.
DH and I both see white/gold, but looking at the same exact picture, A says blue/black. I've read all the science about it just being a brain/perception thing. Still all very weird.
