I am joining you from PAIF, where vballbaby and I were very close in terms of schedule and progress. I just had a D&C Friday after we didn't see a heartbeat anymore at 8w5d after getting pregnant with our last frozen embryo from IVF. I hope you don't mind me joining you to both learn how to process this and lend support to others going through this difficult process.
I am running a pretty decent fever tonight (101.2) so we called the doctor exchange. They are calling in antibiotics for me because I don't have any symptoms other than chills and soreness where I was getting my PIO shots (which was ramping up before the D&C - it's like my body was just getting sick and tired of getting them and was numb and tender). Has anyone else has this happen after a D&C?
Sending everyone lots of hugs - I am sure no matter what stage you're in with this, it is never easy, and unbelievably unfair.
Hi doves654, I hate that we're both here I'm sorry you're running a fever, I hope it's just a coincidence and not related to the D&C. The whole process so far has been so emotionally and physically draining, that I'm sure our bodies are a bit run down to say the least - I hope you can rest until you feel better. (((hugs)))
Hi doves654, I'm so sorry for your loss and welcome to the board. I hope you find help and comfort here. I'm afraid that I can't give you any insight into your health, but hopefully your doctors will take good care of you and keep and eye on your symptoms.

doves654, so sorry for your struggle and for your loss. As others have said, it is so difficult, and it is certainly unfair. I did not have that experience after my D&C but I am sure your doctor will determine the source and hopefully give you great care. In the meantime, know those of us here are available to support you or just let you vent. Big ((hugs)) to you, and welcome.
I'm so sorry for your loss. (We discovered ours at 8w6d, so similar timing.) I haven't had a fever, so I can't comment on that, except that obviously you did right by calling your doctor. I'm sorry you're having to deal with that on top of everything else. Everything about this sucks and is unfair. Hugs to you.
So sorry for your loss. Your body does get super run down after all of this I think. I got a full blown cold right after mine with fever, sore throat etc. that being said if I hadn't had the sore throat making me sure it was a cold if I was running a fever I would definitely want to be seen to confirm there was no infection in my ute. Big hugs.
