I have had no energy this entire pregnancy, and then about 3 weeks ago, I came down with the flu that took me down for the count for a week and a half.
Needless to say, it looks like my house should be declared a Red Cross Disaster Zone. It's awful. My house has never been this messy or dirty before.
Well, this morning I wake up and I actually have energy. I decide it's time to tackle the house. I decide to get some laundry going. I only have enough detergent for 1 load, but I have at least 8 to do. I tell my husband that I'm going to run out and pick some up. He suggests I wait until he's ready and we go unload his truck (we loaded it up yesterday with stuff to donate to GoodWill) and then go pick up whatever I need. I tell him ok, well then start getting ready.
I figure in the meantime I'll clean the bathroom. Well, I am out of toilet bowl cleaner too. I tell my husband, who is laying on the couch, again, to please get up and get ready. I don't want to lose my momentum. He says ok, and then continues to lay there, staring at the TV. I ask him again, "Seriously babe, if we're going to do this, please get up and get ready". His response is "ok" and then to continue to lay there!
My blood is boiling at this point. I grab the computer and sit down and start typing. He asks me what I am doing. I tell him I am looking up a house cleaner and I'm going to book an appointment. I tell him I haven't had energy like this in the past 20 weeks and I wanted to make the most of it before it went away. He's obviously not going to help me, and I am done nagging. I'm his wife, not his mother. And I'm just done. He doesn't want to put forth any effort to help, fine. He can pay for me to hire someone to come help me.
He tells me I am just being hormonal. Then he gets up to go start getting ready. I seriously might throw the computer at him when he comes back out here. Seriously, I love this man, but he's driving me nuts!
