Question about how you felt the day after your D&C

I took the next week off, purely for time to heal emotionally from my d&c. Physically I feel like I could've worked the next day.

I felt fine the day after mine, i ended up taking that day off because i was a weepy emotional wreck, but physically i was fine. Good luck to both @buggirl72 and bethkate will be thinking of you ((hugs))

I had a D&E, so slightly more invasive, but I could've gone to work the next day. I was still crampy and bleeding, but with some pain meds I could've managed. Good luck to both of you!

I felt fine the day after. No bleeding, just a couple Advil for some light cramping, and still just a bit tired. I worked the day after, albeit from home, but I could have gone in.

I'm pretty sure that physically I was okay the next day. I didn't get bad cramping until a few days later when I passed a bit of tissue that was left. I was tired but I could have worked if I had needed to.

therealbug After mine I had pretty minimal cramps and medium bleeding which tapered off by the next day. I also took a nap right when I got home to really let the anesthesia wear off. I would also just take it super easy all day Tues if you plan on going in Wed because too much activity could make recovery longer. Also, bring Advil with you to work and stay on top of the doses, that will help too.

bethkate It's good that you can take it easy at work on Wednesday if you decide to go in. It's also good that your coworkers know what is going on, in case you have a harder day than you were expecting. Wanted to add (((hugs)))!!

I took a half day the next day. I was still a little off from being put out, and I did have some cramping for a few days. I brought my heat pad to work with me for a few days.
