They don't appear to be on tb, and they don't appear to really be here either....I'm not usually as much of a poster as I am a reader, and there's usually much more to read. Come back, D14. Come back! My kid likes to eat every 2 minutes so I sit around reading the interwebs a lot and I miss you all!
Seems like the regulars weren't necessarily the post-starters...I like the idea of carrying over some of the daily threads that give us something to automatically chime in on. I'll try to come up with thread ideas from time to time, too. I'm sure people are feeling skittish, but hopefully it picks up here soon!
I agree. The regulars are here but we usually aren't the ones to start the posts. Maybe we should have some check ins and daily threads. I did AMA check in over on TB. Anyone interested in that here?

I've been wondering the same. I get nervous and then not do the posts I am wanting to do... I've been trying to participate more since we've moved. It's great for nursing entertainment.

I'm never around as much on the weekend! I'm solidly here on PB though. I just had 2 SNs and 6.5 years of bump history deleted so I don't plan to go back.

Seriously, I've been refreshing the page every time I feed LO an wondering the same thing. I also agree with letting the daily threads carry over, just so we have more to talk about.
great. would people be into working and stay at home mom threads? i have to admit being a working mom of 2 school age and one newborn kid is daunting to me - but I know there are sub boards for those things. Me I'm kinda a one-board lady at this point, but if there wouldn't be takers because people would rather hang out on the bigger boards for working/stay at home parents that's cool with me. otherwise i could do a working mom check in on wednesday
I'd be into it! Though I still like to pretend that my mat leave will last forever. I can't imagine leaving him. :-(
I read a lot, but I'm too tired/busy/lazy to actually type. I think it will be better here though as on that other site that shall not be named I kept getting logged out when I swiped back and was too lazy to sign in every time I wanted to reply.
I'm down for a SAHM thread. This new app sucks butt, but I'm getting used to it. I've checked in on the former site a couple of times and wow....slow and lameo without all the flaming and snark. Total snooze fest. <br> ETA: maybe we could have a Friends thread too? Everyone seems to be watching it and I like seeing everyone's reactions and where yall are at in the series.
I second a friend's thread, I always post about where I am in random threads.

I'll be a working mom again in mid-feb. I could see having a running thread kind of like ye olde breastfeeding thread. I'll probably have random chit chat and venting on the subject... If I had a question that required a lot of input I'd probably bring it to parenting or the wm board.

Of course I'm interested in the AMA check in, I look forward to it every week! Thanks for all you have done and do!!

I've watched from the beginning and am so sad it's ending!
I've been binge watching friends on netflix today while LO cluster feeds. I'll try to be here more even if it means one-handed typing.
99% of my posts are done one-handed because I'm either pumping (manual), holding LO, or sometimes even both.
That last one takes a lot of practice.
Never seen Parenthood, but now I'm thinking I might have to check it out! Hmmmm...
It's so good. I think it's a show that rewards patience and commitment -- sometimes a character or storyline is annoying. But overall, it's got so much HEART and such great values.
Jason Katims is the mind behind both Parenthood and Friday Night Lights, so check out FNL too! All seasons of both are on Netflix, except the current (final) season of Parenthood.

I just caught up on season 6 today. This season is intense! Do you know what time and day it comes on regularly??

I'm currently binge watching Six Feet Under, and I just found out the guy who plays the main character in it is apparently one of the main characters in Parenthood (I'm an IMDB addict). And since I like him I may just have to start Parenthood after I finish this show...

Six Feet Under was soooooooooo good!!! The series finale was incredible. Best. Finale. Ever!!! Definitely check out Parenthood next. It's weird seeing "Nate" as such a different character, but I love him.

I watch it on Hulu, but I believe it airs Thursday nights 10/9c on NBC.
