Love this thread idea!
Here's my energetic furbaby Dany (nerd alert: full name Daenerys Stormborn *mylastname). She's a puggle (pug/beagle mix) who absolutely adores DD. It's so amazing watching them grow together.
I have 3 cats and 3 fish (DS's fish). I will have to wait to do pictures until I can get on my computer. I am too exhausted to hunt down all the cats for pics!

The black and white cat is Rainy. She is 5. The grey and white cat is Link. He is 4. Both are rescues.
Link has always been buddies with DS. This is the day we came home from the NICU. Yes DS is in the rock n play but you can barely see him because he's so itty bitty.
Because I wanna be an AW. Here is another one. Link doing tummy time with DS who was 1.5 months old in this picture.

My non-fur baby doesn't really fit in with the rest of your mammals, but iguanas are awesome pets if you have the time and space to properly care for them. Nerd alert: her name is Aragorn (I thought she was a guy for the first few years...difficult to tell the gender with little lizards)

I had in iguana when I was in high school (named Mo-fo), who used to roam around my room. One day, he went missing. I looked everywhere, and eventually assumed he had somehow gotten outside. Weeks later, I found him... In the VCR. He was alive, amazingly.
ETA: thinking about my VCR in highschool is making me feel particularly old.

Wow, I can't believe you found him there! They can squeeze into the most random places.
This is Leo (Leonidas). We got him after we had a half-Siamese, who was unfortunately killed on our street at 11 months. We'd fallen in love with the breed, though, and had to get another, so we got a *gulp* purebred. I'll never get a different breed of cat. They are so absolutely ridiculous, oozing with personality and so cuddly. They're really more like puppies. Images are newborn baby Leo when we bought him from the breeder, teenage Leo, and present day Leo (he's about 4.5 now).

This is Xcel! He was my birthday present from DH the first year we were dating. He's had a pretty charmed life, and gets away with way too much. He's fiercely protective of DS, and seems to have no fear when it comes to bigger dogs - he once charged at FIL's bullmastiff! Don't let the cuteness fool you, he's a bit of a douchebag at times... but he's MY douchebag.
Loving all the pics. I would LOVE to have a dog someday, but 1) husband still requires some convincing and 2) we're not really set up for it right now. Plus, I love the idea of waiting till our kids are old enough to really be wanting a pet.
But ... it appears my son is a CAT PERSON? How did that happen?
