I'm tired and crabby. I didn't sleep well. I'm usually a stomach sleeper- my boobs hurt so much I couldn't sleep on my stomach. That is my bitch for today...
MrsC0617 FX he/she can help you! I feel like the ways in which getting KU hasn't been easy (time-wise and stress-wise, in my case) has made it totally obvious we are TTC. Every time someone is like "oh as soon as my wedding is over, my sister will be KU" and "In 6 mos, I'll get KU," I respond with the GBCB mantra of a healthy couple, year, etc. Hopefully it won't be much longer for you!
PamBeeslyHalpert that party sounds way too stressful! I was in a similar situation this weekend and it was hard.

DD has Strep throat and Influenza A right now. We were in the ER Saturday night/Subday morning with a 104.7 fever. It has been lots of crying, sleepiness, and throwing tantrums because she doesn't feel good ever since we've been home DH has been sick for a week so he's no help. I'm started drinking at noon today because reasons. That's my MMB.

Yikes, that sounds awful! Hoping your household starts feeling better soon.
My bitch is about my girlfriend. Four of us did a girls night on Saturday. We got a hotel in the city for the night, went out to dinner, to a Chippendales show (interesting stuff!), and then planned to go to some bars/clubs before heading back to the hotel. Well our one friend is a total lush a total lush and made a complete ass of herself. She recently made an ass of herself on NYE at my house by getting in a fight with MH and causing a giant scene. So I was already not a fan of her after that. So by the time we get to Chippendales she's had a crap ton to drink (read like 6 drinks while we were out and some back at hotel that I was not keeping track of). She proceeds to have four more drinks and is a total mess. She's falling into people and acting a fool. She then sits down in a chair and passes out (all during the show). She then proceeds to vomit all over the floor. I help her to the bathroom where she throws up/passes out off an on for about an hour before we could get her husband there to take her home (he had to drive an hour to get her). It was just a total mess and she's lucky she did not have alcohol poisoning. Spending basically the entire show in the bathroom with my puking "friend" was not my idea of a fun night out.
(Once she was gone we did have a lot of fun with the three of us out at a club dancing. She's basically gotten herself banned from any nights that involve drinking and I wouldn't mind not hanging out with her again. I don't need that bullshit in my life).
Wow, just wow.
Yeah, it for for sure a wow moment. Just sort of looking at her and saying "I don't even know how to respond to this is so fucking stupid"

Apparently I have a field mouse in my kitchen (I live in an old stone house in the country...it happens.) The damn thing got into my chocolate stash and ruined it. We have 4 freaking cats, and a mouse ate my chocolate. I hope it dies.

Ugh! I made a total rookie mistake. We went to the park today and I saw one of our dads - we hadn't seen this family in a few months. So... when they stopped coming to us the mom had told us she was expecting #3. Of course I ask how she's doing and stuff and he tells me they lost the baby on Halloween. Ugh! I took the opportunity to direct her here if she needed support (he totally laughed when I gave him the bump bitches url) I told him the ladies here kept me sane and I think it helped the situation to know that when I said I totally understand I really meant it. I just can't believe I didn't lead in better!

Hahaha I'm sorry about your chocolate but this reminded me of a cat I had. He was so chubby and lazy, he literally watched a mouse run around in our living room in front of him because he was too lazy to chase it. My Cooper would love to get some mice for you, would you like to rent him?

I literally loled at this. Have your cats ever caught a mouse?

I just checked my band kids' grades. Of 35 band students, 16 are failing something. Twelve of those are juniors or seniors, three are group leaders, and nine of the 16 are failing more than one class.
There is no reason for this. They have been in school two weeks. It's just a reasonable amount of homework and turning in a syllabus or two. I'm trying to craft appropriate punishments in my head. Luckily, I have a music educator's conference later this week and I will be seeking advice from professionals.

My bitch is that I hate myself for procrastinating so fucking much! I have papers since December to grade and grades are due tomorrow by 1. I kept bringing home my huge bag of papers each weekend and never did anything for over a month. Ughhh

How could you possibly be failing only two weeks into school?

By not turning in work. Some of them have 0's. We have one math teacher who does this late work thing where they can turn in all the work for a chapter at one time...but in the meantime, he puts in zeros when each assignment isn't turned in on its own. Or something like that. The kids like it, but it's a trap.

Once. My wife gets up WAY earlier than I do, and she woke up one morning and started bitching loudly that the damn cat either shit or puked up a wicked hairball next to the bed. I got up - in the dark, without my contacts in - and grabbed it with a tissue. Realized it was half of a dead mouse and freaked a little. Found 3 more chunks of mouse scattered around the house. At least the cat was thorough I guess.

This made me think of this... One of my clients lives in an old farmhouse and I have been working some nights there because they have been on vacation.
I have seen mice running around the house before.
One night early this month I started hearing something in their ceiling. Something large. It is scratching around and chewing and thumping and making so much noise. It is in the walls!!! They have known about it for weeks and haven't solved the problem yet.
It is the creepiest thing ever. And I know it is way bigger than a field mouse.

Ewww. This happened to my dad once - he got up in the middle of the night and found one of the cats playing with a mouse on the kitchen floor. I know we have mice in the garage (backing up to a farm I know it will happen) but god help them of they get in the house... Our cats lose their shit over a fly - I can't even imagine their response to a mouse!

I would put money on squirrel or raccoon. Tell them to put moth flakes up there. Not moth balls because they will toss those out - the flakes are harder to move. Also, leave some light on and try to make noise - maybe a radio on a timer. That will make it am uncomfortable environment and they may leave on their own

I found out over the weekend that my brother and his crazycakes girlfriend are going to have a baby. My mom had to get "permission" to tell me. Whatever. There house is disgusting because no one cleans or does dishes on a regular basis. They are not even remotely financially stable. They both work part-time and are under the impression that they will get everything they need for a baby at the shower. Stupidity is running rampant in there house apparently. Plus this wasnt a whoopsie I forgot to take my birth control. This was a and I quote "I want a baby so you better give me a baby".

Ok I have an actual bitch now. DH is driving down to his parents tonight to borrow some tools from his dad. It's an hour or so drive so we don't normally randomly drive down there during the week. And I have gotten THREE texts from his mom and sisters asking if we are coming to announce anything. Nope. I'm not even going. No announcements. Just need tools. So sorry to disappoint everyone. Ugh.

Post #2.. MH just called to invite me to a BBQ so that I could get some sun (we live in South Florida) and hopefully feel better (I've had a respiratory infection for a couple of days now) but he told me two of his friend's wife are going to be there, one that just had a baby 3 months ago and a second that that is 5 months pregnant.. So if I go I know all we are going to be talking about is being pregnant and babies and... I really can't handle that today when I know AF is coming tomorrow (huge temp drop this morning) And now MH gets upset that I don't go because he wanted me to meet some people and hang out with him and... Ugh.. why can he understand I just can't deal with 4-5 hours of that right now?? ok.. rant over.
That sucks. There have been a few events in the last month that I've tried to avoid due to babies and pregnancies, but my DH doesn't get it either. He uses the annoyingly logical argument that their babies and pregnancies don't affect our fertility, but it's been tough for me to handle that especially after our loss.
Can't you use your illness as an excuse? If there is a pregnant lady and a 3 month old baby, you don't want to spread your germs to them. That would be super self sacrificing of you to miss such a fun party for the sake of their health ;-)

UGGGGH. The worst. I don't get why people do that. If I have an announcement, shut up and let me make my announcement when I want to. If I don't, your anticipation of my announcement is salt in the wound.

Like you're going to ruin the surprise if you do have an announcement by telling them it via text? What?
Edit: Actually, say yes. Walk in looking like you're going to burst then loudly exclaim that you are here because... YOU'RE DOING DIY AND NEEDED TOOLS! SURPRISE! But seriously, now that you have their attention...a coffee would be great.

I'm not going. DH is. But he says he is going to say "Omg I have a surprise to show you!!!" And then show them a picture of the bathroom we are remodeling. Lol.
