This week has already been tough. Like many others, I had events this weekend that were drinking heavy. Fun for sure, but not great for the diet.
Other than that, I have been doing OK. I really, really need to start workout on a more regular basis. Tonight I think I am going to try a pilates video.

Isnt the point of working out so we can drink?
If not I'm doing it way wrong, lol
Ha. I think that all the time when I don't want to work out. I keep saying to myself, "just do it so you can have some wine tonight!"
Doing okay, not great. The weekends are always harder. I only ate 2 slices of pizza on Saturday night, not 4, so I'll call it a win. Not much in the way of work outs, but I did ice skate with the kids Saturday and again today and fit in a yoga class yesterday. Planning on cardio tomorrow and back to good food, at least till the weekend hits again. Down a couple of pounds since the new year so I'm doing something right for now!

I am finally over my 3 weeks of sinus infection. Tried to work out this morning to 30 day shred and couldn't find the remote. I think my one year old hid it. Hoping tomorrow is better. I am in a wedding in May and I need to fit into the dress. I need the workouts to de stress but it is so hard to get out of bed at 5:15.
If you're just getting into it and want to mix strength and cardio, I either second PP's 30DS suggestion or check out the fitness challenge on Buzzfeed. They're both good about being serious, but quick, workouts that offer accommodations to ease you into it.
I had every intention of doing p90x plyo this morning but my children were up all night and I woke up in DD's bed almost late for work so....
I'm hoping to get that done tonight or at least run a couple miles outside since the weather has been in the 30's this week.
Diet still going well, you can pry my pumpkin spice coffee creamer out of my cold dead hands, but other than that, I've stayed pretty good on it and it's fun to create fun healthy recipes.
Last night I took a brownberry sandwich thin, shoved some boneless skinless chicken breast in there, some sauteed onions and peppers, a dollop of the TJ's black bean dip, just a pinch of sharp cheddar, and topped it off with some corn salsa. So much delicious. Healthy, filling, and yummy.
Anyone have suggestions of a 20-30 minute workout DVD? I have worked through all the levels of 30 Day Shred and I'm not sure what to do next.
I'm doing T25 and it's intense but only 25 minutes. I also heard the new P90X3 is 30 minutes long as well. The videos are pricey but you can find them way cheaper on Craigslist.

leroybrown, is brownberry a brand? I like that idea a lot for a quick dinner, with some veg on the side or sliced avocado.

Yep. 100 calorie pita pocket looking things, 100% whole grains, so yummy. Last week I mashed egg and added some mustard to it and made a healthy egg salad and shoved it in there. They are really versatile!
There are a bunch of free workouts on On Demand for Comcast. I just started using them pregnant, so I'm looking for low intensity and have only checked out a few, but maybe see what they have? I do 2 of the 10 minute workouts a night.
Thanks! You're right. I thought I would lose more on this program, but I am still happy to be getting some results!
Always celebrate the loss no matter how big or small.
If you start allowing yourself to be upset about "only" losing .5 lb, then you will begin to feel discouraged. Be happy about any loss...even be happy if you maintained for a week!
It's like when you play Blackjack. A push is a win in my book. Keeps you in the game.
Whenever I feel sad about losing "only" .8 our something, I look for a piece of meat that weighs the amount I lost while I am grocery shopping. It is a nice reminder that it is definitely substantial.
