We still use the little washcloths. I think they're easier to maneuver on a little body than the grown up size. The hooded towels were nice when he was smaller but he's too big for them now.
The most useless things we got as a gift were the peepee teepees. They were kind of a joke (I think) from a friend who just had a son. I'm tempted to put them in the box with her other baby presents and ship them back to her. I think she's appreciate the joke.
The only useless stuff we bought were a couple of different types of bottles before we found one he liked. We skipped the gym and the floor seat though.
We still use the little wash clothes to clean up after every meal/nighttime and hooded towels. We also love and still use a sleep sack - although this is likely due to the fact winter will never end - and its part of our night routine now.
swaddle blankets. they are all way too tiny! ended up using them as burp cloths, which I guess was actually pretty useful. those small vials/hard containers for storing BM. They are too darn small for a serving...we just got a bunch of the BM bags. so much easier. Kinda regret having the baby brezza right now. it's such a cool machine but LO has been eating more and more of what we eat and less purees. I think it will come in handy a lot more when LO starts weaning, but for right now.....let's just say I almost used it to make a frappe this morning just so it wouldn't be a waste of counter space. it is such a cool machine I really hope we do end up getting some use out of it. stuffed animals. OMG LO has so many. they are lovely generous gifts, but he only even has interest in like 3 of them. maybe this will change when he is bigger. I need a toybox. teethers. I got all the styles. LO prefers his fingers.
oh and also - baby robes! so cute for a photo op but so useless. maybe if it was summer and LO was like, lounging on the patio with a margarita. but really, lo goes straight from towel to diaper&pj's.

Haha this! We got 2 as gifts I think and they are super adorable but not practical at all.
The last time I wore a robe was when I was walking the corridors of the maternity ward trying to get LO out. I can't imagine he'd have much use for them either.
When I wear a robe I'm usually naked underneath and I go up to my H and rip it open and then snap it shut. He absolutely loves it! He won't let me get rid of the I originally started doing it in. He says it has sentimental value, lol!
A bathtub basketball hoop. Keeps falling down/LO rips It off. BF didn't work for us so basically a ton of BF supplies - cream, pads, pump, etc. I donated most of it. Baby towels were also useless after ~6 months. They weren't big enough to dry her off fast enough without starting to shiver.
