I had never heard of "mucous plugs" before I joined the bump so yesterday I decided to google it to know what I'm looking for when it happens to me. For goodness sakes, DO NOT GOOGLE it! You will be scarred for life I promise you.

My receptionist's daughter had her baby last week. The week leading up to it she kept coming into my office to tell me every little detail about what was going on with her daughter. One of the details was her daughter losing her plug. I really could have gone without that information.
I peed my pants coughing three times yesterday. Three! Not like a full on pee but enough that I'd have to go change. Now I need to do laundry because all my sick/comfy clothes have pee on them.

jenari - me too! I think I'm fighting a cold and it kept happening when I had a coughing fit. A friend of mine recommended to me wearing pantiliners in the 3rd trimester, may have to start that early...

Ugh it sucks! This is another TMI but I'm allergic/sensitive to something in pantiliners and can't wear them. That would be the simple solution I know!

I haven't tried them, but they do have cloth versions...a FB co-op I'm in was selling them recently.
Another thing that might work would be (if you're crafty) getting some microfleece and cutting it into rectangles (don't have to hem) to put over the pantiliners. I'm doing this for my daughter's cloth diapers. The microfleece has a stay-dry effect and lets moisture through to the padding below. I've heard the dollar store fleece blankets work well for this, although I got some cute prints for my baby on fabric.com.

I posted in the stupid questions Sunday about this- after sex I feel like all my internal organs are going to fall out of my vag. The pressure is so intense for like 2-3 hours afterward. Sexy, I know.

I had really bad gas yesterday, and went into a public restroom to go pee and it sounded like i had diarrhea but it was just built up gas in my belly. There was someone else in there, I was so embarrassed. I wanted to say something but that would have been even more embarrassing, like "its not what you think think it was" . awkward washing hands moment.

Another pee on myself, but it's been so bad. I'm still getting sick and when I do sometimes the per is not just a trickle,I'm seriously considering poise pads.

sunshyneshay - I have heard of some people literally posting a photo of their plug on the boards, before.
I didn't see a mucus plug with either of my other kids. My first I'm guessing came out gradually and I assumed it was discharge. My second I think came out during my labor and I didn't notice it. So I've never seen a mucus plug IRL.

I'm only half joking when I say I want a catheter. Both for these fun couch until you pee yourself moments and the get up a million times a night to pee moments.

I feet were so sweaty and disgusting yesterday. They were so gross last pregnancy that I mostly wore (ruined) one pair of flats and then threw them away after baby arrived. Looks like I'll do that again.

Haven't gotten further than this post yet, but maybe try the inserts for pocket diapers. You can wash them, and don't have to worry about it going through to your pants. Just a thought.

My boobs! They are humongous and get bigger everyday. I am growing out of my new bra already.
Where is a good place to buy sports or sleeping bras for big breasts? I am hanging out of a size E and feel like I've outgrown all the options in Wal-Mart or Target. Or should I just get those nursing cami's?

I just got some Es at motherhood maternity. Their sleeping bras come in sm, med, and lrg sizing though. My 36 Es fit comfortably in the mediums right now. Maybe run by there and try them! They were doing a buy3 get 1 free deal the other day. And the sleeping ones are nursing bras too! I'm taking my Snoogle back and getting more, and some pjs that fit, and possibly some mat panties...ughhhh I feel so frumpy saying all that!

I was literally about to ask if everyone will see a mucus plug at some point when their own comes out. Good to know that's not the case.

Ok, I looked up the pictures of the mucus plugs, and I actually wasn't really that freaked out. But I have some medical training, plus working with kids with special needs I experience some weird/gross moments, so maybe I'm more desensitized than I expected. Although I think I'll probably be a baby and freak out when/if I actually see mine lol.

Be careful buying a bigger bra. I finally started wearing my bigger bras and my boobs are starting to look bigger. Like my giving them more room was giving them permission to grow even bigger.
I haven't had sex in a really long time and it's making me nuts. I feel like a 13 year old boy who thinks about sex all the time.
We tried on Saturday for the first time in a long time and I had to make DH stop because I felt like I was going to throw up. I think I ate too much beforehand - sexy, I know. Then when I finally started feeling better again, DD was up from her nap so that was the end of that.
I think that sufficiently freaked DH out enough that I might have just kissed it goodbye for the next however many months

My right boob hurts so bad! I am sitting here with a heating pad on it right now. I have a fibroadenoma in that breast, so maybe it's from that. But, I won't call the dr. because I feel stupid saying "Um my boob hurts really bad"....
So. TMI bitch. I have psoriasis on 2 places on my body... The back of my scalp (manageable as long as I don't scratch while wearing black) and my fucking vag on the entire right outer labia. I didn't develop the vag one until about 3 years ago and it's gotten progressively worse. My OB had me stop using the topical rx stuff so now I don't have much to combat flare-ups. And with all the damn CM I've been having I'm going fucking insane.
Ah! That's a horrible place to have psoriasis. I'm so sorry!

I think I'm going to need to get into panty liners soon too. I pee so often lately, and I can sit there for a minute after I'm done and I wipe thoroughly, but I still leak when I stand up. It's so uncomfortable and frustrating. Also going to miss the abs/flat tummy I had before pregnancy. I was so proud of it!
Eta- I just realized my second part of this was meant for the other thread. Face palm.

I started wearing them while I had a two-week long cold because of all the coughing-triggered peeing. I recommend it as well!
