Got a period at 6 weeks PP. DTD last night and started my second one today. EBF. Boo.
Sorry that it came back so quickly and is back again. We are on week 20 of nothing but breast milk (mix of BF and pumped) and I thought I was getting it 6 weeks ago so now I feel lucky I had the extra 1.5mo, even though I originally hoped for 6-12mo of BF with no period.
Sooo... AF is 3 days late. This will only be my 3rd month that my cycle would be back so I am seriously hoping my body is still trying to get back to normal. I'm too nervous to POAS. And DH has had bad anxiety lately. My pregnancy last year partly triggered his first anxiety attack so I don't want to freak him out more right now. Ahhhh!
ETA 3 hours later I picked up a test on the way home and AF showed up!
Congrats
My body still doesn't know what it's doing! We are going to Hawaii next Thursday and I'm terrified it's going to arrive then!

I used to do the same thing. I'd get super worked up and finally go get a test. Then, before I took it, AF would show up, except for that one time
nannygoat I'm also debating picking up a test... it's only my second month back but it's been 35 days and I used to be 30 days like clockwork. This is just my body readjusting right?! We barely managed weekly sex and are using condoms so I feel like it is so unlikely but I'm psyching myself out. WWD14D? POAS?

I would definitely POAS, but I was more or less addicted to POAS while TTC and during the first month of pregnancy.... So I'm a bad influence.

It's been said it takes at least a year for your body to go back to prebaby. And for some people, somethings are never the same. The lady who put in my paraguard tried saying I might have an infection because I have a lot of discharge. Um no. Ever since I got pregnant with DD1 I've always had a little extra fluid. Yuck but bodies change after making, growing, and expelling a screaming life.

This is me. I totally would do it even if I knew there wasn't a remote chance of it being positive. If only POAS wasn't so expensive.
I used strips off Amazon, super cheap and accurate about 1 day after my FRER test, which detected it at a level so low my doctor thought it was a chemical pregnancy when I went in later that day to confirm.
I had a mirena put in 6 weeks postpartum and after tons of light spotting for months I haven't seen anything in a month. So count me in for the paranoid club... I POAS this week though and definitely not pregnant. While it's nice not to have a period it's going to take some getting used to.
This is exactly what happened to me! I totally just POAS this weekend because I was starting to panic. Def not pregnant, and definitely going to take some getting used to not having a period.

AF is a real bitch. My first real pp cycle started Sunday with a MOTN crime scene in the toilet. Thank god I got up to pee after the feeding. No warning. Luckily there was no mess elsewhere. Strangest start ever.
