Ladies! I need some inspiration/ideas
We have a big gaping empty space above our bed. I need ideas with how to fill it
Heres the low down:
1. Room is soft blue with cream and black accents. All furniture/floors are med colored wood 2. I must be able to do this on the cheap, the cheaper the better. 3. I dont mind trying my hand at new mediums so any suggestion is welcome (provided I dont have to buy a ton of tools to work it) 4. I like classic stuff, no super Modern looks.
If anyone has an good ideas I'm all ears! pictures welcome

We have paintings above our bed that we did. We took a wine and canvas class and then hung our paintings above our sides of the bed. I keept an eye out for a painting that I liked and would work in our room.

thanks ladies! I am pitching a few to DH, he suggested a tapestry, but thats not really the tone we have going on. I started thinking about a wall quilt, but havent come across anything that really inspires me! chibiyui those lighted canvases are so freaking cute! I was planning one if we get pregnant with a girl as a nightlight!
When we needed a piece in our living room we also wanted to add some colour. So I bought a piece of wood 5x8 that was quite thin but stretched floor to ceiling. Once we pained it the accent colour (red), we then went and bought 6 frames to hang on it. We took an abstract photo from trips we'd taken together and hung them on the board (Pier in Florida, house of blues from chicago etc.). It turned out great
